Healthier or not, if a product does not taste good it is not worth buying. I have used this for probably 20 years and am really disappointed with this change. The flavor is first and foremost my top concern, and it is severely lacking. I find the new flavor it very unpleasing and unnatural. I have purchased one tub of the new formula, but I doubt I will be able to finish it due to the taste so I have also wasted my hard earned money on this tried and true product (or so I thought). Now I will be tasked with searching for a suitable replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free for my honest review. My family and I enjoyed the buttery taste and the easy way it spreads. One of my kids adores grilled cheese sandwiches, which of course requires a good spread of butter. Country crock works perfectly.

I used to use Country Crock for everything, LOVED it. Now this "new recipe" butter is nasty, tastes horrible, cooks horrible it's like cooking with plastic, even looks like melted plastic and is hard to clean out of the pan when used for frying. I used to refuse to buy any other if the stores were out of it, I would simply wait for them to get more, but now I am seriously thinking of buying something else, because I can't stand this "new recipe". Big mistake changing it, if it isn't broke don't fix it. Tonight I was getting ready to cook, put a small amount of your "new recipe in my skillet, fire was on low, as soon as the butter melted I pulled the skillet off the fire to finish preparing what I was going to cook an extra minute maybe two minutes at most.... I am including a picture of what your "new recipe" butter turned into, it is hard and looks like melted plastic...

It is one of the best spreads out there. My mom would always used this in her household so now that I have my own this is the brand I buy. It’s very affordable and taste delicious. Definitely recommend especially if you have little kids that like butter

I remember the first time I tried something other than country crock I was really disappointed because I loved the taste so much! I have found that over the years it has not changed greatly either. It is still just as delicious and simple as before. Thank you country crock for a wonderful and consistent product year after year!

This bread tastes very good it has a nice texture, very spreadable. Great for Grilled Cheese sandwiches or to even just btter yoyr toast for breakfast. It has a great taste very similar to butter.
