[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Original Country crock is great for overall baking and cooking. I use it mainly for dessert recipies. I like the convenience of the tub rather than a stick of butter. I find my dessert recipies taste great without an overpowering butter tatse.

I was getting so sick of stick butter and bread, well trying to spread it on the bread. I can take this out my fridge and easily butter my bread. Also when I'm baking and need softened butter, no need for another pan and wasted time and usually burnt butter. I'll be sticking with this brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so pleased to start off with that it was a full sized tub of country crock. I was not expecting that so I was definitely pleased. I am not a huge margarine fan but I do like to cook with it. This was very nice to cook with. Some margarines are made from oil and it looks like water in the fry pan but this was not the case. I really liked everything about this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to use Country Crock Original. It comes in a nice, compact container. It is easy to spread and melts fairly easily. It has a pretty good taste and can be used in multiple ways. I have used it on grilled cheese, crackers, and in receipies. I received a small tub to try free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a die hard Country Crock fan for many years and was super excited when I saw the new "space saver tub" in stores. However I had just recently purchased a new tub so it was a while before I got to buy the new one. I honestly wish I would have known to savor a little bit more what I had, but as the song says, you don't know what you've got til it's gone. I previously used Country Crock spread in baking because its oil content was sufficient. This is no longer the case. And truly for the very minimal price difference now, I will just be using good old butter from here on out. If I have no other option, I will probably use it again. This has no effect on my love for country crock :) If you are looking for that classic buttery taste without paying the price, look no further. I can't imagine a household who hasn't, at some point, already tried and loved this spread, but if you havent, please do. Aside from the "cheaper than butter" incentive, the flavor of this brand has always been a favorite in my household. We use it for just about everything (I even substitute it for oil in cake mixes....delicious!) And I cant recall a time when I didnt NEED it for one thing or another while I was cooking or preparing a snack. Once you try it, you will need it too!

I used Country Crock for baking. It has a great creamy texture and allows the dough to have a smoothness to it. It doesn't have heavy taste. I also like that it comes in a larger container so that I don't have to make frequent trips to the grocery store.
