[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used Counrty Crock spread for baking. I had only ever used it as a spread on top of things. It was very creamy and had a very real buttery taste. I used the cookie recipe "Make It Yours" . We loved them.

New look with the same great taste! I love this buttery spread and so does my family. My daughter loves bread and she refuses to have anything on it besides peanut butter but we finally got her to give this a try with the bread and she loves this just as much! Croissants are also great with the original spread and we use it for cooking and baking as well. The buttery hint with a slight pinch of salty flavor makes everything taste great! It's great in mashed potatoes or just with a little on top or in baked potatoes. We have loved this and thank @influenster for the complimentary sample for review!

Country Crock is delicious, easy to spread, and comes in an easy to store container all at an affordable price! It is great for baking, as a spread, on potatoes and much more. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a tub of Original Country Crock to test for my honest review from @Influencer. When I was growing up my mom always used Country Crock. It is my preferred choice for my own family. I love the taste of an ear of corn on the cob cooked with and then lightly drizzled with soft, buttery tasting Country Crock. It adds the perfect flavor to home cooking.

Ever since I can remember my family has always used this butter. When I began my own family 12 yrs ago I was determined to continue using what I thought was the best hands down. Either baking, stove top or just plain dinner roll. I've always been excited about the new things improved CC but sadly this latest has been quite disappointing. I thought ok it taste a little different I'll get use to it, but then baking and cooking it began sticking and leaving this film substance. So yesterday I had to toss the bucket and purchase another brand which I won't name. I sure do hope that this is a trial and error situation. Hoping for the best and improved CC. So my entire family and I can come back. EM.

I have been a faithful customer for over 20 years. When I purchased this product 2 weeks ago, I thought they had just changed the packaging. Boy, was I wrong. The taste is terrible. I will no longer purchase this product. Does "new Coke" sound familiar?

I wasn't really expecting me to like it since my stomach usually can't handle butter substitutes, but this one was fine and I actually couldn't really tell difference in taste. I also used it as a spread on biscuits, and I could tell a slight difference in taste than butter, but it didn't turn me off. Great for people who are trying to lean away from using butter for health reasons.
