[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Country Crock for the first time today. It has such a great buttery taste, I dont know why I've never tried it before. It spreads on bread right from the fridge, no need to let it sit and soften. It is light and fluffy. I made a family recipe and my family asked what I changed bc it tasted better. I told them, I replaced the oil with Country Crock. Did I mention I got it for free, yes its true, Country Crock sent me a coupon to try it for free. So glad they did, because I may never have tried it and missed the awesome taste it has. Please if you have never tried Country Crock, goto to the store now and buy some, I promise you wont be disappoonted. Absolutely love the taste it has, it is not an oily taste like most butter. It is light tasting and taste like home style churned butter, the best I have ever tasted. Thank you Country Crock for another great product:)

I assumed correctly. It is fine if there is no real butter, but there is a "fake" taste that goes along with it.

It was soft, which made it easy for spreading, unlike some other butters that tear your bread apart. I will definitely purchase this again.

I received a free butter tub from influenster.com, but I do use Country crock products anyway. It melts well, which for me is important. It's reasonably priced, and its got a velvety texture. I would recommend country crock butter to anyone that is looking to try it.

We have been using "Original Country Crock" for many years and was satisfied with it. We recently bought our first 3 pound "Square Tub" with the "New Simple Recipe". Although the total fat and saturated fat is lower, the TASTE of the new recipe is TERRIBLE... This will be the last Country Crock we will buy unless the "Original Recipe" is brought back ... Sorry, UNILEVER, but you dropped the ball like "Coke" did a few years ago.

I have been waiting patiently for country crock to go back to its original recipe. I am hoping this will happen sooner instead of later. I grew up with Country Crock. My now grown children knew no other "butter" while growing up. Your decision to change your recipe reminds me of when Coca Cola changed their recipe in the 80's to "New Coke". When they finally saw the light, they brought back the original Coke calling it Classic Coke. If you bring back the original recipe you can also call it Classic - Classic Country Crock! This is one of the best butters I have ever put on my toast it taste delicious and I would definitely recommend I don't think it needs more improvement it's delicious and it's a good price for a good amount and that's all I would like to say about the product
