[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Country Crock original for years...and now I got a tub for free! This is the best "butter" aside from the real thing to cook with. It tastes great and doesn't operate like other brands. It spreads easily as well, on bread, toast, pancakes, etc.

That being said, all opinions stated here are absolutely my own. I used my country crock a few different ways. One way was simply on toast which reminds me of being a kid at my best friends house, a country crock family unlike my own. Nothing beats the spreadability that sticks of butter cannot compete with. I also used the country crock for baking a batch of cookies. That spreadability becomes slightly difficult in the measuring aspect since I am so used to the ease of butter sticks. The taste was the same as usual to me (I made chocolate cut out cookies with a star wars theme). They held great throughrolling and baking and I was quite pleased. Over all I would recommend country crock, and already have.

I have always used country crock since I was a little girl.I use it in rice,bread,soups.Its so creamy and not to oily like some other spreads.It doesn't give your mouth that oily feeling in the roof of your mouth.Its smooth texture spreads smoothly on toasted bread.I recommend this butter over any other..

I had a ton of butter in the fridge, not sure why I have four containers of all different brands, but I've got my new go-to. Made this recipe after finding it on Pinterest and normally I use stick butter but since I had an assignment to use Country Crock I thought, why the heck not. Best decision ever. It was so much easier to work for some reason, maybe true cooks know this but me as an average baker did not. The cookies came out tasting fabulous and turns out, I have to make another dessert tonight that includes butter so thanks Country Crock for being my new go-to.

I was hoping that a "new simple recipe" meant that it would taste less processed. It did not. I like to have butter on my bread when I eat and was hoping to use this but no. It still tastes bad. Cooking with it is great because the taste is drowned out by the other flavors and its better for you than real butter. I would recommend cooking with this but just using this for a garnish or on bread I would say no.

Great on bread or for baking and cooking. I just tried their #MakeitYours cookie recipe and they turned out so good. I love that you don't have to wait for your butter to come to room temperature or try to soften it in the microwave. The cookie recipe really doesn't need any mix ins because it is so good by itself but the fact that you can add anything to it to make it different and creative is just an awesome idea! LOVE IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the original spread of Country Crock for my honest review from @influenster and I fell in love with the creamy flavorful taste!  I made a breakfast for me and my family and we all used the Country Crock original spread on our pancakes and biscuits which really was yummy even without me using any syrup or jam.  I would recommend this spread to all of my family and friends because this is a good quality product to use in almost any recipe for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did enjoy using this product instead of butter, while baking. It gave a similar taste and was already soft enough to blend easily with the sugar. I made the make it yours cookies and the texture of the dough was a little sticky and thin, but the cookies ended up nice and soft.
