I was impressed that they have drastically reduced the chemicals in the product and besides palm and kernel oil, it is not that bad. The taste is what I remember from my childhood and it is easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a die hard Country Crock fan for many years and was super excited when I saw the new "space saver tub" in stores. However I had just recently purchased a new tub so it was a while before I got to buy the new one. I honestly wish I would have known to savor a little bit more what I had, but as the song says, you don't know what you've got til it's gone. I previously used Country Crock spread in baking because its oil content was sufficient. This is no longer the case. And truly for the very minimal price difference now, I will just be using good old butter from here on out. If I have no other option, I will probably use it again. Recently, I noticed the new Country Crock packagaing, and it offers few varities of spread. I actually tried the new Country Crock Original and its delicious! The new packaging is really nice, I actually love the new Country Crock Spread. Its perfect size, easy to open, space saver, and made with real simple ingredients. Its actually creamier, smooth, and super easy to spread. A perfect spread for the whole family. I highly recommend this product not only to my family and friends but to everyone. The biggest reason (IMHO) is because it's easier to spread on a slice of bread or roll. I personally don't like the flavor, it leaves a very oily film in my mouth and on my tongue. I'd rather have real sweet cream butter but I do and will use this if it's the only butter available.

I absolutely HATE the new recipe...it's inedible. I only just found out it was a new recipe. I had bought the new square tub (which I also don't like) after they came out and after tasting it I thought I got a bad batch. It was so bad I threw it out, I could not eat it. I bought another one and it tasted just as bad. Now come to find out they changed the recipe. It's awful and I don't believe for a minute that customers requested this. I bet money they found a way to make their product cheaper. Unfortunately, it didn't make it better or even as good as it was. I have stopped buying Country Crock after being a loyal customer for years. The sad fact is that I think the other companies have done the same thing because none of them taste good any more. I plan to go back to butter.

The new taste is bad bad bad, everyone i know has spoken about how bad it is. You know a product is bad when water cooler talk is about how bad the NEW country crock is. You have lost many customers and from reading reviews you have lost a lot. Please change back.
