[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this product free for testing purposes from Influenster. Growing up we used country crock all the time instead of butter. I was happy to start using and it again as an adult with my family. It has no artificial flavors, no preservative and zero trans fat per serving! Plus it spreads easily compared to regular butter! It has a very natural buttery taste. We love it.

Over the Easter holiday, I did some baking. Generally, I purchase some unsalted butter, but this year I opted to use Country Crock Original. The pie crust and cookies came out better than using butter. I will definitely be using it instead of butter for any future baking needs.

I never realized that they changed the actual recipe (only the container!), until I received an invite to specifically try and review the product. I would say that compared to other brands, country crock has an overall salty flavor whereas others are more bland in flavor. I typically purchase the light version more often, just for diet reasons. I definitely recommend this! It's a great add in for your daily cooking needs and it's just delicious! :)

This Original country crock spread was delicious, easily spreadable, and everything that I could have wanted in an alternative. It had a savory taste that was JUST LIKE BUTTER without the guilt!!! It has a rich creamy texture that melts into perfection. The taste is decadent and goes perfect in any recipe. I really like the fact it is not made with any artificial flavors and isn't too salty like similar products I have tried and an even better bonus is it has 0 trans fat making this product a mommy must have. My whole family loves the delicious taste of Country Crock® Original butter and I can't even imagine using anything different!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves country crock on his toast, it spreads much more easily than butter straight from the fridge. I usually put it on baked potatoes. I've tried to cook with it, but it doesn't always have the right consistency as real butter in a few recipes, such as my grandmas shortbread. It just never came out right unless I used butter. So this is a good spread, but not a total replacement of butter for me. I received this product free in my @Influenster Voxbox to test.
