I have grown fond of it because it spreads evenly, tastes good and is always soft enough for sliced bread. I cook with it and bake with it, and it's perfect for toast and grilled cheese.

I really like this one because it has a good taste, not too strong or too bland. It's also not too hard to spread and great and even tasted good used in recipes as simple as mashed potatoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been a few years since I have purchased Country Crock though back then I thought it was pretty good. I mostly purchase butter now but occasionally purchase butter-like spreads. When I was given the chance to test this product, I had no reservations. Unfortunately it did not taste how I remembered it. It had an "off" taste and while looking like butter does not come anywhere close in flavor (I know it's not supposed to taste just like it but it is unsettling to me how different it tastes while trying to look the same). I don't know if it is the recipe change or if my taste buds have changed over the years. It's still ok, definitely edible but not something that I would buy. My kids liked it just fine though they are not picky (unless we are talking veggies).

I honestly hadn't eaten anything other than butter as an adult, til now. Thank you Country Crock and Influenster for the free spread.... I had forgotten how light and creamy margarine is. My creation was simply waffles and they were delicious! I'm switching back to Country Crock. From now on, no more butter.

I have been happily using this product for many years. I recently purchased the new tub that is rectangle, and thought, ooh I like the new shape! That evening I made mac n cheese and it tasted funny. Our family are BIG mac n cheese eaters and evwryone that comes over loves when I make it. Not only did I not like it, but my husband and son did not like it. Not wanting to waste the food, I offered it to our 3 rotweillers, who refused to eat it. So I put it outside for the nightly visitors to enjoy. Imagine my surprise when a stray dog, a dumped cat, and 2 opposums refused to eat the food! The only change was the "new and improved" Shed's Spread. This stuff is going into the trash. If this company does not bring back the original they will lose many loyal customers. If you want to add this new product to your line up, put it under a different label....it is NOT the original! Right now I am headed to the store to find a suitable replacement so I don't disappoint an autistic birthday boy this weekend!

I am a fan all types of butter and often gravitate towards yogurt based spreads but was very excited to try this out. I find that Country Crock Original Butter tastes like Grandma's house. Great flavor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved Country Crock, but when I received the coupon to purchase a complimentary tub of the product, with instructions for cookies I was unsure on how this was going to come out. I have to say it was amazing. The kids and I loved the ease of the recipe and the taste of the product. I have made cookies before, but will say the Country Crock original spread use made a difference in the taste and texture. I would recommend this product to anyone.
