I am very disappointed with the new recipe.....we have used the original spread for many years and was not aware that of the change until we bought itand used it and couldn't understand why it tasted horribly different. hopefully they will see the error in their decision ( ala new coke) and go back to the old recipe....if not we will find a new margarine and say goodbye to country crock

It's what we bought growing up and the taste is still same after all of these years. It's super buttery and has a great clean taste to it. It's a lot easier to spread by using the butter in the tub versus the sticks of butter. It is a great option, so pick it up next time you are in the grocery store and try it out for yourself!

My family absolutely loved the Original Country Crock. We first used it when we were baking cookies, cupcakes, and rice krispy treats for my son's class. The butter is very smooth and soft and easy to work with. The desserts that we made for the kid's class, were soft and chewy and definitely held that sweet buttery taste. Great Product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this product it is smooth and tastes great. So many spreads have an oily aftertaste but this does not. It is not great for cooking but works great for making grilled sandwiches or on toast.

The new recipe that you introduced in the new 'tub' is terrible. The original good, fresh taste is gone. Making it with canola oil totally changed the flavor and I will no longer be purchasing this unless you change it back to the real 'original'. This was definitely a step down from something great - in fact so far down, that you will be losing a lot of customers - me for one.

It tastes buttery and delicious - super smooth and great to cook/bake with! This will definitely be my "go-to" from now on!
