Country Crock has been on my table ever since I can remember. It was fantastic not only for eating but cooking also. This new product and I do say new product is not the original Country Crock. The taste is simply nasty and alters the taste of anything and everything it comes in contact with. Why would you change a beloved product and call it the ORIGINAL? NASTY, NASTY, NASTY!!!!!!!!

I like that it is gluten free and that it has 0g trans fat. I enjoy being able to cook and not have to wait for it to melt before I can use it.

It really tastes great on toast, a bagel or even melted on vegetables like broccoli. I find I only need a little to add a nice boost of flavor to my meals. The whole family enjoys Country Crock Original too including my children.

My family has a dairy allergy so we have been looking for a butter substitute. I was so excited to find country crock because of the ingredients list! It spreads really easy and tastes great. I have been cooking with it and am really impressed with how versitille it is. We will continue to use it! I received this product for free to test.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has used country crock for ages, mostly because it's so easy to evenly spread on everything (unlike some other "spreads" which can be a little...well ... lumpy). Love that it works just as well with cooking/baking and definitely love the taste :) I've used it with baking cookies and my kids use it often on muffins at breakfast and we couldn't be happier with the product.

After YEARS of purchasing CC imagine my dismay of opening my new 5LB tub and practicality gagging on my corn. I thought it was spoiled. Then I noticed the little notice in the corner of a "new simple recipe", simply disgusting is more like it. I will NEVER purchase again and I'm sure I'm not alone. I preferred the old recipe over butter! You have different "flavors" but you get rid of the ORIGININAL, are you kidding me???? Someone dropped the ball and I'm dropping you.

I purchased the "new Country Crock" and spread it on my toast. I could taste the difference immediately. I told my husband it tasted weird. Of course, he laughed and told me it was my imagination. I couldn't eat the toast or anything else with new Country Crock
