It has a nice buttery taste, but less fat than butter and it is easier to use in some recipes - especially ones that require prolonged exposure to medium to high heat in a pan. The taste is identical to butter, at least in my experience. The texture, similar to butter, but the benefit is that you never have to leave Country Crock outside to soften, unlike butter that forces you to remember that softened butter takes some time. Tastes excellent and comes in varying size containers! This is also a vegan product- which is part of the reason we will continue buying it- not everyone in my home can consume dairy and this contains no dairy but also still tastes good and has good texture. I always buy this brand but did receive a container free recently in exchange for my unbiased review.

The household favorite was mixing it with honey and serving it with warm dinner rolls for Easter. It turned out MUCH creamy and flavorful than other brands. Country Crock is a brand that you can trust to give you great quality products, at an affordable cost, every single time. This Spread is always creamy and delicious and can be used in endless ways. Some of my favorite ways to use it is on toast, in mashed potatoes, on a loaded baked potato, and even on just plain pasta.

The spread stays creamy so there's never a need to bring it to room temperature for recipes that call for that. The only con is that when using a recipe that specifically requires butter, this vegetable spread will render different results.
