I have been using Country Crock for years. This week I had to throw away this new one and buy the store brand butter. I will no longer purchase Country Crock until they change it back. Absolutely horrible. Wish I could get my money back. I think this will definitely hurt them financially. Good luck keeping your loyal customers. This one is gone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so pleased that Country Crock has opted to create a cleaner and simper recipe with ingredients I *understand.* I grew up on Country Crock and now feel like I can really let my children do the same. It was easy to scoop out and use in a from-scratch cookie recipe without having to allow the butter to melt or soften. It was ready right out of the tub! It was a nice spreadable product, but had more of a buttery consistency, which I liked. Everything I've used it with has tasted good and it even made the cookies moist, which I was suspended about as this is the first time I haven't used butter! I'm glad I gave the product a shot as I am already a country crock fan.

This has no effect on my love for country crock :) If you are looking for that classic buttery taste without paying the price, look no further. I can't imagine a household who hasn't, at some point, already tried and loved this spread, but if you havent, please do. Aside from the "cheaper than butter" incentive, the flavor of this brand has always been a favorite in my household. We use it for just about everything (I even substitute it for oil in cake mixes....delicious!) And I cant recall a time when I didnt NEED it for one thing or another while I was cooking or preparing a snack. Once you try it, you will need it too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sample arrived and was broken. The plastic seal was open and margarine had spilled all over the box. I happened to see the same product at the grocery store later that week and picked it up. It's a small and compact product. I've only used it on toast, but it tastes good and isn't oily to me.

I have used this for so long and like others find this new product terrible I have ruined my eggs every morning. It causes them to stick to this brown film that coats the pan. It splatters a lot on a medium low heat or higher. So as others have said now I have to find another product. Being on fixed income wasted money on something I can't stand.

Grilled cheese, cinnamon toast, and mac n' cheese are all staple foods in our house. This spread kept those staples good and yummy for my littles (and myself). It did not weigh the food down or leave you feeling 'gross' like some butter/margarines do. No complaints here!
