We used it for the most delicious grilled cheese sandwiches and again for shrimp scampi. The flavor was perfectly delicious! I will definitely be buying this again.

Overall, it worked well in a few different baking recipes. Cookies turned out perfect, but it did leave a little lack of density in brownies. Otherwise, it was the perfect substitute for butter!

The taste, texture, & convenience (as in, no waiting for butter to soften) is already a plus, but now there's an easy cookie recipe on their site too! And any way to save time & not sacrifice taste is a huge positive on my book.

The taste is like you went out and churned it yourself. It is so fresh and yummy, and makes everything taste better. I can't go without my buttered toast in the morning or adding it to left overs at lunch. The best butter money can buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flavor is great, nothing artificial about it and when I use it to cook it holds up so I can use it to make a white sauce. It had been a long time since I originally tried it and I think it has improved considerably since I formed my original opinion of it years ago. I have been converted and will buy it again soon. I may even switch from my usual spread because most stores don't carry it in the larger tubs and I need an alternative for that reason. So long as I can get a large tub, Country Crock will go in my cart! I received this tub of Country Crock complimentary and had somewhat low expectations but ended up really loving it.

I used to find this spread comparable to butter, but since the ingredient change I can tell the difference. While I applaud Country Crock's attempt to use fewer, simpler ingredients, I think the exact recipe needs some tweaking in order to replicate the taste that I grew up with.

I know use changed containers but why did you change the quality and taste. When you place some in your skillet it looks different as though it is not the same country crock. The taste is terrible, Please go back to the same quality and taste or sales will go down. Thank You

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a butter girl. Keep it in a cute dish on the counter so it's always soft and easy to spread. The thing I don't like about butter is how hard it is to spread if it's rerefrigerated. Country Crock spread eliminates this problem by being soft even when kept cold, and tasting just like butter. It's a win-win. I received this product for free for the purpose I reviewing, but the opinions are my own.
