[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always liked Country Crock. It has a great flavor and is nice to use when baking. I like the new container. It is stylish and seems a lot more sturdier than the original containers. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up, there was always a tub of country crock on the table to pair with veggies, potatoes or bread. To me, it was butter. When I got the opportunity to try a new recipe for country crock for free, i jumped on it. It was just as I remembered, a smooth spread and rich oily taste. As an adult, I usually prefer butter and in this case, that remains true. But, its nice to know that some things never change :)

It's creamy and smooth and the perfect addition to my morning bagel or to my baking recipes. It can be used in anything and it's just all around tasty! I love that it's easy to spread even when it's straight out of the fridge. My whole family loves it!

Made mac and cheese and it obviously calls for milk and butter. I took my first bite and was like EWH...I though maybe my milk was bad so I ignored it. Then I spread some on some toast and had the same reaction..new doesn't always mean better country crock. Don't mess with a good thing !

I have an autistic child that eats very few things, and one of them is toast. He loves to have toast for breakfast before school. The only butter that he likes is the original Country Crock in the round tub. He hates the New Simple Recipe, tried it once and now he no longer eats toast for breakfast. In fact most days he does not eat breakfast anymore, just a glass of milk. We all tried it and no one in the family liked it. Its sad that this happened. I do not know the motives behind the change to the New Simple Recipe, and understand the desire to improve your products, but why eliminate the old recipe? Would it be too much to ask to offer both old and new recipes?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free for review. This product tastes fine and the texture is as you would expect. There are two major drawbacks for me however. First, it doesn't appear to be vegan, though Country Crock easily could have made it so. I am not vegan, but the main reason I would use a margarine product instead of butter is for baking and cooking for vegan friends. Second, and perhaps more important, this product contains palm oils, the collection of which is currently unsustainable and permanently destroying natural areas and critical habitat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using a different brand of butter for awhile now when making my grandmother's homemade cookie recipe and was never fully satisfied with the taste..that is until I used Countrycrock Original butter spread! This was the missing piece in my recipe and I am so glad I figured it out. I think my grandmother would be proud of my cookies now! :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the just like butter taste of Country Crock. I thought that it spread easily on whatever I put it on. The only downside is I thought it did not not make a very good grilled cheese sandwich.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Country Crock! My favorite thing is that t doesn't rip my toast or bread and makes for the perfect cinnamon toast in the mornings. It's also very versatile and I use it in place of butter all the time.
