[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very comparable in price and quantity to real butter and the taste is fairly close as well. The only thing I thought was missing was a little salt but it's probably better for you this way! I love the fact that I can pull the tub out of the fridge and immediately spread it on bread. I feel like it will last a long time as well because it spreads so easily that I do not have to use much at all. I did receive this product complimentary to review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to try the Country Crock Original spread as part of the Harvest VoxBox promotion. I tried it on slices of organic whole bread toast in order to sample the flavor and taste of the product in the best possible way. I really enjoyed the texture. It’s smooth and creamy and easy to spread. I did however, look at the ingredient list after reading the packaging and noticing it says “Country Fresh Taste”. It made me think that the spread would be simple and made of natural ingredients, meaning mostly cream and salt. That however wasn’t the case, which I found disappointing. I’m also not a fan of products that include palm oil and this one does. It is however a great spread to use for cooking and baking if that’s what you’re using it for. I have made muffins and cooked vegetables with it in the past and they all turned out great!

okay let me start off by saying i received a coupon from Influenster for a bucket of country crock and I'm so glad i did! This has quickly became my favorite spread to put on toasted bread or to add into steamed veggies or even to put into my favorite mash potato recipe, its definitely tasty, its even better that its creamy and light and just melts in your mouth, deserves 10/10

It is often my choice of preference when shopping for butter or a butter substitute. I honestly can't comment on how it fares calorie or nutrition wise, but I can say that it has a great taste and melts very easily when I cook with it. But using country crock made a difference and watching the #make it yours video. Will only bake with this now. Thanks for saving my cookies. I have used country crock for as long as I can remember. I don't ever recall another brand being in my home as a child and I have continued that as an adult with children of my own now. This new recipe is absolutely terrible. I initially thought I had purchased a bad batch so I purchased another tub. When being melted for one of my children's favorite snacks, which are grilled cheese sandwiches, your product now has a melting plastic smell. The taste is less appealing than the smell. It tastes nothing like what we are used to. It leaves a nasty film in your mouth which seems impossible to get rid of. Very unhappy with this change. I do hope you decide to go back to the first original recipe. Until then I will be on a quest to find a suitable replacement as my family cannot tolerate the disgusting new original recipe. Very disappointed.
