I add it to my Indian currey recipes too and they come out very well. I really like the smooth feel when using this as a spread and I love the taste of this butter spread. I now add this to everything I make and I do not have to bother melting the butter before using for some of my recipes.

I love to cook with it and bake with it and it's used for other purposes like when I'm grilling potatoes on the grill I put country crock in the aluminum foil to keep the potatoes juicy. Best for no bake cookies and sugar cookies.

Am I the only one who prefers the round butter bowls? The lids fit better and the rectangle bowl does not take less space in fridge. I put rectangle bowl in same spot I used to put round bowl and it fills the whole space snuggly. When I grip the sides to carry it to counter, the lid pops off. If I grab it from the top, the lid pops off. Also, I've found out that I am not the only one whose husband likes to use round butter bowls for cereal, lol. I don't mind the other changes as long as there's always an original option, just bring back the round bowls please.

I have been using Country Crock's Original for years. The taste and smooth, creamy texture are the best. I was so thrilled when I discovered the Country Crock Original New Recipe! It is a much healthier recipe, while maintaining the original taste and texture I have come to love over the years. I heard from someone recently who claims they miss the old recipe's taste. I wanted something for the bread that I made for Thanksgiving and had heard country crock is a great route for warm soft bread. Country crock was super easy to spread and had a delicious taste. I'm glad I went with it as it didn't tear the bread like regular butter seems to do.
