I'm a butter person. However, I was pretty excited to try this again, since I was raised on this stuff; it was our "butter", and we used it for anything and everything. With the free coupon, I decided on purchasing Country Crock Original. The flavor was just as I remembered, smooth, creamy, and light. It reminded me of my childhood-and that's awesome. I used this spread in a few of my dishes to substitute butter and the outcome was always delicious, soft and moist. I put it in my protein bar recipe and it kept the bars I made from drying out. We've always used the Calcium + Vitamin Dtype, but recently tried the Original and we love it. The spread tastes like real butter, is smooth and easy to spread and has a very rich flavor. Something about being raised in the south lends toward the use of butter on vegetables, in baked goods and even meats. I am such a big fan of country crock and how realistic their spread is in texture and flavor. - 5 out of 5 stars review9/16/2015This new recipe is pretty darn good. People are just being really harsh and unfair about the whole thing. Just because they don't like change. Yeah, it's not the "original" taste, but come seriously? I doubt this stuff tastes the same as it did when it first came out. Do you know how many changes it went through? When I was a child I hated this stuff, but when I grew up, the taste had completely changed and I loved it. I haven't tried cooking with it, but my girlfriend has a pretty sensitive taste and she still enjoys this despite the change. (And trust me, she doesn't like change.) To say ridiculous things like "you ruined my food!" is completely uncalled for in this situation. And people shouldn't be threatening to go to another company b...

My son has so many allergies its hard to find something he likes or will try! Most spreads have sunflower oil in them or dairy which he cannot have! this is such a smooth and creamy spread with a light buttery flavor. my daughter literally was begging for more toast and licking her lips to get the last bit of flavor. it is so good!

Most of your customers were probably aware of the GMO's and other bad things in your margarine, but like myself, used it anyway because it tasted good. Now that it tastes disgusting, there's no reason to not switch to butter or a different margarine.
