Although I'm happy with this margarine - I have used it for me and my family - I am highly upset by the price increase !!! That is absolutely outrageous!!

I think the spread is good but really have become more accustomed to real butter. I'd rather stay away from buttery spread that doesn't taste like real butter and seems artificial. I will use the remaining container for cooking but that is all.
It's ok
Originally posted oncountrycrock.com - 1 out of 5 stars review1/8/2016For the past 20 years that I have walked this earth, my family has always purchased Country Crock. A few weeks ago, we purchased a nice, new square tub of your margarine. I noticed that the packaging stated it was a new recipe, and I ignored it, not knowing the horror that was about to befall me. The next morning, I made breakfast for myself using your new "margarine" spread. What I thought would be a lovely, buttery bagel turned out to be a foul, stomach-curdling mouthful of sadness. After this incident, I have had multiple people try the new simple recipe and they all agree completely with my opinion. I have since had to switch brands, and I will NEVER buy that concoction that you call new and simple ever again. The whole tub was thrown a...

It has the best taste and texture out of everything we have tried. We love using it for baking, cooking, and even on grilled cheese sandwiches.
Love the taste!

I recently received free product for my unbiased review, and I was so surprised! It was buttery tasting, spread nicely, and when we baked muffins, they came out just as good if not better! I will be purchasing from now on.
Great Taste!
chwilliams0604Originally posted oncountrycrock.com - 4 out of 5 stars review3/25/2016I received A coupon for a free country crock butter for my unbiased review by influenster and I am glad I did. I never thought butter can be so satisfying. It's is very creamy easy to spread out. It taste really good, even my parents felt the difference compared to a brand of butter we buy. I do recommend the butter and it is not super expensive!

I grew up with country crock always in my house and now that I have my own family I still always have country crock in my house. I love to cook and bake with it as well as just put it on my morning toast.
i love country crock

In fact its not only a staple in my fridge it's a part of my Tupperware cabinet as well.... Every empty container gets washed and repurposed as a container for leftovers. I love country crock and will continue to use it until it's no longer made(don't do that).
Buttery spread indeed

Also a great spread for rolls and toast. I received a coupon to try this buttery spread for free, but all opinions are my own. Highly recommend!
Versatile Product

My son has so many allergies its hard to find something he likes or will try! Most spreads have sunflower oil in them or dairy which he cannot have! this is such a smooth and creamy spread with a light buttery flavor. my daughter literally was begging for more toast and licking her lips to get the last bit of flavor. it is so good!
Lip smacking goodness

It has a wonderful creamy taste that spreads super easy. It doesn't have that greasy film like other margined do. I used it to make my seven Up cake if turned out wonderful. I highly recommend country crook original to everyone. You won't regret it.
Country Crock rocks
Leslie74Originally posted onCountry Crock - 4 out of 5 stars review3/12/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This butter was perfect to use, as it was easy to spread and easy for my kids to use. They didn't get frustrated because there were clumps on their toast. It was easy to add to recipes, and tasted great on toast.
Loved trying this out!
Courtneyw90Originally posted onCountry Crock - 3 out of 5 stars review10/1/2014I like country crock, but I seem to have a problem lately with a lot of water in tub. We do not eat out so I cook every meal. With my husbands dietary restrictions, it is just easier. But the water thing is really turning me off. I have used it for years and I do not remember having this issue before.
Water, water everywhere!
LeelynOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 4 out of 5 stars review1/25/2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am surprised that I can't really tell the difference when using this instead of butter for cooking or baking. Great substitute/healthier choice for both of those options. I will mention, though, that I do taste a difference when using it for toast or on a potato, but it's not a bad difference, it's just different. The value that you get for this compared to butter is so much greater, I think I'll stick to country crock for now!
Great product; can't really tell the difference
KrisJOriginally posted onCountry Crock - 4 out of 5 stars review3/12/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CountryCrock is the only brand of butter me and my family use. I love that the new recipe still have a great have a great taste. Certain things I cook the butter do create some type of white flaky stuff, other than that I still love it.
Only brand I use.
ThatShellieOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 3 out of 5 stars review4/18/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't particularly like this product. In small amounts (ex: buttered toast) it tastes fine, but when using it to make food products that are very buttery (like pancakes) I found that the taste is kind of off. It tasted more like a chalky butter?
Edible but not my favorite
Running RoundOriginally posted onCountry CrockCsr ServicesWhen we set out to create our new, simpler recipe, we had nothing but the best intentions in mind. We’re sorry to hear that o... - 1 out of 5 stars review8/18/2015We have been using country crock for a long time, and we are extremely disappointed with the new simple recipe. It tastes awful, and ruined the meals we used it in. Also, it sits on top of bread like icing and doesn't melt and doesn't combine with olive oil when we're cooking. We will be returning this immediately and switching to a different product. I have to wonder how this passed quality testing.
I would give zero stars if I could
Unhappy BuyerOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/8/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though I was compensated for this review, it is all my own opinion... I have never bought another butter to out in my fridge. I've been loyal to them since a kid, dipping my finger in the tub. It's creamy, and not salty, and works great for cookies!
Would use nothing else!
tessitalynnOriginally posted onCountry Crock - 5 out of 5 stars review9/14/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this product complementary for testing purposes, all opinions are my own and completely unbiased. I have been buying this brand for many, many years and so has my family as I was growing up. I like to use this for cooking chicken or sautéing vegetables. The taste is not overbearing or hard in texture. It is pretty smooth and spreadable. I will continue to buy this brand for years to come, because it is a brand that I trust for me and my family. #MakeItYours
Butter
MorningBeautyOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/15/2023I've been using Country Crock butter (spread) but I call it butter. It tastes so good. It's soft and spread easy, it does not rip your bread. I use it for EVERYTHING as you can see that I'm out and have to buy a new one. It is kinda spendy depending where you buy it but it's worth it! 👍👍👍
Not salty
