I tried the sticks years ago and didn't like them and this reminds me of them. I've been loyal to only using Country Crock for many years and all my family use it but if it doesn't change back I'll find a different one because it changes the taste of my food and even the people I serve stated what's different! ? Please change back or atleast give both options!

I used it melted in place of melted butter for a boxed mix of blondies and they turned out great, gooey and delicious.

It tastes great. Love the simple goodness of it and I love that there are no trans fats. It tastes really good. None of that grittiness or aftertaste that some margarine has. This time I got it free to use in baking cookies. I've never used Country Crock in any of my baking so I gave it a fair shot. We could all taste the difference and unfortunately it wasn't in a good way. The texture and the taste weren't unpleasant and the cookies won't go to waste but I won't share them outside of my family because these don't hold up to the standard I keep my baking at when sharing with others. The product is great as a spread on toast or cornbread which is what my husband uses it for but it will not make an appearance in my baking again.

I use to work as a pastry cook and butter was a large part of my life for a very long time. And while this isn't butter its as close to butter as you can get. It's smooth and creamy and tastes great. For the ease of having this spreadable right out of the fridge I would say it's worth having around. Also the packaging fits perfectly in the little side flappy section of the refrigerator (some round buttery spread containers don't fit there)!

The flavor is smooth, but doesn't distract from the baked goods I've spread it on. There is no weird chemical taste that sometimes pops up in butter substitutes. I too was pleasantly surprised that Country Crock passed the bread and butter test, it has a creamy texture and delicious flavor. For my second test I used it to sauté asparagus. I'm not a huge butter person, but when I do splurge I'm very satisfied with the taste and texture of this spread. It melts great for grilled cheese and adds tons of yummy flavor. I remember when my grandmother used to buy country crock and use the Tupperware to save all of her leftovers so you look in the fridge and all you see is country crock everywhere because shed save all the Tupperware. The fact that they make durable Tupperware for just so you can save your products just tells you how good the product is. I think this is a good alternative for butter when using it to bake. I use margarine a lot to bake as it doesn't change the flavor, but I prefer real butter as a spread. I most likely will not buy a tub version of this again, but rather the stick version for baking.

This buttery spread is so creamy and smooth. My pet peeve with butters is when they are so hard and impossible to spread. You will not find that with this! It spreads completely smooth on bread so easily. While I did receive this for free, it is actually something I find myself purchasing and repurchasing. It is a classic for a reason and one of the only butters that I will use in my kitchen!
