I would have given it a zero but had to at least give a one to write review. Purchased this today 2.96 lbs according to package. After cutting out gristle out of the middle of it and removing the quarter inch hard fat throughout and on edges I ended up with 1.2 lbs of useless scrap. I have always purchased these steaks and everyone always raves about them but this time, it has been months since I purchased, it was nothing but gristle and fat I hate to see what the actual meat tastes like. I did not buy last time I was at Sam's because the package looked this way more gristle and fat then meat. I don't really know that this is top sirloin since I have never seen top sirloin in such bad shape. Maybe you should change butchers if they do not know how to cut and trim the meat. The meat is why I shop at Sam's but at this keeps up with poorly cut/trimmed meat I will not be utilizing Sam's period.

These were lousy. Tough. Grilled them to still pink in the middle. Should have tenderized them before we did.

Every single steak was tough and extremely hard to chew. Ended up throwing them out and ordering takeout.

Steaks are always a great choice for a get together. Served with twice backed potatoes and sautéed green beans.
