Peace of mind on the track!

Great tire for my track days. I go through several sets a year due to extensive track time and the PSC 2 never disappoints. Grip/Handling/Performance is exceptional on the track.

Expensive - but worth it?

I've been running these for just a couple of weeks now on my CTS-V wagon. It's a big, heavy car and makes about 800hp at the tires. Some guys run drag radials to put the power down, but I needed a better all-around tire. These are a good step up from the Super Sports. Quiet, grippy, the ride quality is amazing. Wear / tread life TBD. But these hold at WOT in 2nd gear - something no other tire has been able to do. Super Sports wold spin in 4th gear sometimes. The handling feel is great too. I've had several rain days and wet grip is way better than expected - haven't tried deeper water but wet roads handle just fine.

track tires only

These tires are meant for the track not to be daily driven. if you are looking to get these for your daily think again. No daily driver under 600 horsepower needs these tires. These are the toughest tires but there tread wear is terrible. DO NOT BUY FOR A DAILY DRIVER! AND DO NOT COMPLAIN IF YOU DO BY THESE!

Best SCCA Cup car tire ever made

I've read a lot of negative comments about this tire. I'd like to offer my thoughts, a consumer should always educate themselves about a product before purchase. I see many comments placing fault on the manufacturer for a specific product not meeting the consumers expectations. Researching a product before purchase is the consumers responsibly. The Cup 2 tire is NOT an every day tire. The manufacturer clearly states this, and DOESN'T recommend it for such use. But if you're racing SCCA or Trans-Am This is the tire to have. And yes, the tire is good for one race... Sorry that's just the nature of the beast.

911 GTS goes to beast-mode on these shoes

A week after I picked my new 2016 911 Carrera GTS, I changed out the tires to MPSC2. What a difference over the the P-Zero! The steering and handling are raised by several notches over the already stratospheric characteristics of the remarkable GTS. What is most surprising to me is how long they have lasted: nearly 7000 miles and it appears that they have some life still left in them (I've spent no time spent on the track yet, unfortunately). It's going to very difficult to accept anything less capable.

Cup2s working great for my 1000+hp ZR1

So far these cup2 tires have been amazing, way better then the cup1s! The original tires that came on my 2013 ZR1 were cup1 tires. I was not a fan of them and actually took them off to put on Michelin pilot sports. I honestly liked the pilot sports over the cup1s but after modifying the car the pilot sorts were worthless. I was literally spinning the tires from a 70mph 3rd gear roll and even into 4th. It became very scary trying to harness 900+ rwhp/rwtq. With the cup 2s I’m able to dead hook my ZR1 from a 2nd gear roll at 30mph on the street. Pretty amazed what threse tires can do when warmed up. I highly recommend them.

Excellent high speed performance but only in dry

This is tire is standard on new Corvette Grand Sports. Their performance is exception BUT ONLY in dry conditions. When the pavement gets wet these tire can be treacherous. They are very prone to hydroplaning and their adhesion suffers greatly. Another thing, these tires are very prone to punctures which tire repair facilities are increasing incapable of or reluctant to fix.

Tires gone at 2000+ miles.

I have a brand new 2025 Z06 with the Z07 performance package, so comes with the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup summer tires. At 2,400 miles with no track driving and regular aggressive driving (so day-to-day driving, but hitting corners hard, good speed, but no burn outs, no excessive braking), my rear right tire blew out with essentially no warning, other than a slight vibration that started a few miles before the below out. When I examined the tire, both rear tires were worn completely down to the threads and had split. I have NEVER had a car where the tires were done with such low mileage and no track driving. I mean, I have a Tesla Model S Plaid, a Porche 911 Turbo S, and in the past I have owned Vipers, GTRs, and so on, and have never seen this happen to a tire. I think it is a manufacturing defect. Michelin refused to cover it under a warranty. The last set of Michelin tires I will ever own. Shame.

On my M4 these tires last 5 months.

I used to love Michelin tires but my opinion has changed, I buy tires now that cost 3 times less and perform just as good. For track days these tires will last you one day. On streets it will last me 6 months I don’t want to pay 3k per year just to have Michelin’s the company is going downhill with marketing. Yes they look good but my problem is safety and durability. You see when I had about 8k miles on my M4 my rear tires almost got me killed by hydroplaning on a highway at 80mph good thing I knew how to drift so I was able to stabilize the car. First thing I did when I got home is take these tires off. The rubber is too soft and in the state of Florida they wear out way to fast. Michelin step your game up and not prices.
