I love this tomato sauce for any dish that calls for this ingredient. It has a slightly lumpy texture and a distinct garlic taste, both of which are desirable. It is far more fresh tasting than the traditional tomato sauces because it is not over processed and preserved. Eating healthy is my top priority and I'm glad that I don't have to settle for inferior flavor.

It has a good texture, not smooth but no big chunks of tomato which I don’t like in a sauce. All natural ingredients always are always a plus. I put this sauce on eggplant and pasta and it made a delicious meal.

I used this to cover some breaded chicken breasts and the taste is so delicious. It's not salty at all and actually taste like pasta sauce rather than just water like the other brands.

So I wanted to try making a tikka masala sauce with a pasta base along with my usual spaghetti meal prep. My boyfriend and I are already in love with Yo Mama's sesame dressing and their traditional marinara sauces, but this time I decided to try out the basil flavor since I love basil already. Let me tell you, this sauce is the winner. I have to say it is my favorite tomato sauce out of all the sauces and I will definitely continue to use this sauce for my recipes. Right when I opened the jar and tasted the sauce, it was the perfect amount of flavor and had enough garlic to my tastes so that I didn’t have to add too much more. (I really like the garlic flavor in the sauce because it really sets into the sauce while you cook it making it very rich and aromatic.) It blended so perfectly with my Indian spices and made the ultimate tikka masala sauce. My boyfriend even told me that my sauce ended up tasting better than an Indian restaurant he went to recently or the pre-made sauces we get from the jar. I really do think it’s all thanks to the basil flavor in Yo Mama’s sauce. By itself, it was already delicious and it went perfectly with the pasta for my spaghetti meal as well. Combined with Indian spices? It made the most delicious tikka masala sauce we have ever had. Can’t wait to buy more and make this again! This will definitely be my go-to sauce for my base and for my spaghettis in the future.

Love this product!! Yo mama's foods makes it so easy to make quick meals that I know are good for me. If you read the ingredients labels on their stuff, it's super transparent, all real ingredients I could buy in a store. As a young working professional with very little time on my hands, I love that their tomatos and sauces help me keep fresh, healthy foods in my diet. Plus, their packaging is so clean and looks pretty on my pantry shelves.

Very good flavor, especially considering this sauce is low sodium and has no added sugar. I feel like some of the negative reviews are missing the big picture... the flavor of this sauce comes from all natural ingredients instead of additives. I’m on the Keto diet and try to eat low sodium, so the product appealed to me because of the very low net carb count. I was surprised at how good the sauce actually tasted. If you are using it as a tomato sauce I would recommend reducing it some to get it a little thicker, but overall I am very satisfied with the quality. The price is a little high, but I think the flavor makes up for this.

I bought this because I'm vegan and low carb and I used beyond burger crumbled (plant based) along with the basil sauce and some soy alternative. . Served over zucchini noodles for me, tofu noodles for my daughter and regular egg noodles for my husband. YUM!! Will be reordering for sure!!

I have bought several different sauces from Yo Mamas. Im diabetic, so was looking for stuff to make my food taste great. Well, this is it! I cant say enough good things about the product they present. Theres just nothing like their stuff! You go, Yo Mama;s!

The only ingredients listed are tomatoes,onions,garlic,basil,olive oil,oregano, black pepper and salt. No preservatives added. It also has low sodium content for heathier sauce. All these thing make this as my go-to sauce from now.

If you grew up anywhere with a tasty homemade pasta sauce, or wish you did... this is it! It is delicious and more amazingly low sodium and pretty healthy. you won't miss the added salt or sugar of other brands-- this is TASTY! It costs more than the cheap stuff, but not too bad considering it is all natural and not filled with junk. We love it (our fav is basil, but all we tried have been good)
