My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised with this pasta sauce. The flavor was outstanding! It had some texture to the sauce and did not feel overly processed, but yet it did not have a watery aspect as some more “chunky” sauces do….very consistent, but with small pieces of vegetables. The basil gave it a very fresh taste. I will definitely be purchasing again!

I was drawn to this sauce because of the low sodium and no added sugar. I wasn’t sure how it was going to taste but I thought it was worth trying. This sauce was so fresh, I used it in the macaroni I made for my grandkids and they loved it!! I also added some to my meatloaf and made the sauce for the top of the meatloaf and it added such a great flavor. I am going to use this for my spaghetti sauce tonight and I can think of many more ways to use it so it’s a good thing it comes in a 3 pack. If you are thinking about trying this sauce, GO FOR IT, you won’t regret it!!

Let me start by saying this sauce/gravy depending on what you call it was better than I thought. I also can my own sauce so I know what goes into it a good sauce and this has a lot of good ingredients. You can see and taste the chunks of onion and a good sauce always starts with olive oil and onion. They are cooked perfectly. Not to mention that it’s all natural, no GMO or preservatives. The tomatoes have also simmered to perfection, leaving a good thickness and body. I can also tell they use fresh basil. It’s not just little flakes but it’s chopped and vary green. I used tomato basil and you can actually taste the basil, not like other sauces. One jar is perfect for one pound of pasta. If I didn’t take it out of the jar myself, I would of never known it wasn’t homemade. Bellissimo!

Salsa Deliziosa!!! YO MAMA's sauce was packaged and delivered to my doorstep in perfect condition. After opening the bottle I was pleasantly surprised how good YO MAMA'S Basil tasted! The sauce is fresh and flavorful. I was able to add extra spices of my choice without destroying the natural tomato taste. No added sugar and low sodium help keep the fresh ingredients full of flavor. I used half of a bottle for a chicken dish and the other half for a ground beef dish and my family loved the delicious flavor of both! I will definitely get YO MAMA'S products again - and soon!

This sauce contains natural ingredients with nothing artificial. You can see chunks of tomato and onion in the sauce. The sauce tastes just like homemade. Instead of Yo Mama, this sauce should be called Yummy because it is light with great flavor. I will buy this again.

We recently made the switch to gluten free eating so I was excited to give this sauce a try. I read the ingredients and was impressed to see all-real gluten-free and vegan ingredients. The taste was amazing! Great flavor and the perfect amount of seasonings. I made this with spaghetti squash and topped it with some provel cheese. My kids gobbled it right up. Will definitely be adding this to my pantry staples.

I received this product in October and was just now able to make a meal using the sauce. I added mild Italian sausage to the sauce and served it over pasta with a pinch of fresh Parmesan. This is possibly the best a pasta sauce I’ve had in a long time. It didn’t have an acid taste to it, in fact, it tasted freshly made. This product is definitely a keeper!

I always expect jarred sauces to have a slight off taste to them and most of them do. I was pleasantly surprised with the Yo Mama’s tomato basil flavor. I put it on tortellini, topped it with cheese and then baked it. Made for a great easy, quick meal for those weeknights when the last thing you feel like doing is cooking. The only downside was it tasted a lot like pizza sauce and if I buy it again, I would definitely use it for that.
