There is no question DreamCloud's hybrid mattress is very well crafted. I am an architect and in our profession we pay close attention to every step of process & detail of construction. These folks thought of everything. The compressed, rolled up mattress came in 2 navy blue bags, one draw-string outer meant to take the abuse of the transit. Sure enough, the plastic pocket on which the label is placed was half-ripped from the bag but no harm done. It's meant to protect what's inside. The inner zipper bag was clean, had sewed on handles & facilitated 2 persons to carry the very substantive mattress upstairs into the bedroom. Guess in case we want to return it, the inner bag will serve as the container. Now how you force out the air and fit in the bag would of course be a challenge but nothing like those that came in a cardboard box. The bags each rolled nicely into a small tube the size of a tennis ball tube. Very thoughtful design. The mattress unrolled easily, and started hissing even before we cut open the clear & totally clean plastic seal/wrap and quickly filled up to its designed normal dimensions. And there is barely any odor, that's an excellent sign that the materials used are not hazardous to your health due to off-gassing of VOC which is always a problem with foam products, though we did have all windows open to help dissipate any anticipated smell. That wasn't necessary at all. Bravo. Now, as for dream-cloud like comfort, the verdict is still out. We have ceased waking up stiff and tired, but it would be untrue to say we awake refreshed and totally relaxed, but then you can't blame the mattress for everything either. We'll give both the mattress and our bodies sometime to adjust and acclimate to the new relationship. Perhaps we need to look into pillows and how they may be adversely affecting our rest. My wife is 5' & < 100 lb, I am 5'8" & < 150 lb, and we both sleep in all kinds of position except face down, so perhaps the pillow top of the mattress isn't quite soft enough given our body build. I would really hate to go through the trouble of returning it, since it's such a well-made and handsome-looking mattress.

I was really unsure if the bed would be firm enough but so far it’s quite comfortable. You really can’t feel your spouse moving around either. My only complaint so far is that the sheets, which are incredibly soft , came out of the dryer terribly wrinkled.

The best of the best mattress ever made. First night sleep was amazing and it keeps getting better. Support is just perfect. My wife absolutely loves it. We have used the " number" bed for about 15 years and still had problems sleeping. Not any more. There is no comparison to this bed. Highly recommend. Sincerely Dr. George Gdovin

Before i purchased this mattress i was having lower back pain..so looked at a lot and f reviews and video comparisons and decided to purchase...it was left at the front stoop, extremely heavy and hard to unpack!! After finally getting it to the bedroom and on the frame, I allowed 24 hours for the gassing process..well 5 days in the smell is still lingering and now I am having pain and stiffness in between my shoulder, lower neck area.. I might add I had help with the mattress from my 17 yr old son who is quite athletic and I Workout daily!!! Will give it a little more time..may just need to adjust to it...really hopeful my pain goes away

My first impression with the company was poor due to a number of shipping missteps and poor communication. Eventually I got the mattress and so far after about a week I think I like it. It seemed too firm at first but seemed that either it softened up after the first few days or my body has possibly gotten more used to it. The tufted top took some getting used to as well but I think now that I've had it for a little bit I like it now. It sleeps a little warm but I don't wake up sweating or anything. I do notice that if my wife sleeps too close to me I tend to sink a little bit towards her, but usually she stays on her side and it isn't a problem. The motion transfer is much better than my previous mattress but not as good as others I've seen. Anyway...still on the fence but I will say it's definitely a high quality product. I think the more time goes by the more I like it so we'll see how I feel in another week or two.

We searched forever for the perfect mattresses, and are hoping we found them with DreamCloud. We're giving them a long test before we can say for sure, but still hopeful. The mattress is VERY firm. I like firm, and it's almost too firm for me! My wife likes a softer mattress and doesn't think she'll adjust to this one. We're both heavyweight with back issues, so support was important, but this may be too much. Otherwise, the quality is fantastic for the price, very impressed with the trial period, and the warranty - those were the deciding factors when we purchased. Oh! another note - we bought two Twin XLs to use on adjustable frame, and while they work well on it, they do not meet in the middle. There is a large gap, due to the pillowtop design, so no snuggling, you'll fall in the abyss. And finally, if you do buy the mattress, buy the protector. Always worth the extra money to protect your investment.

I've had my bed for over 2 weeks and the gaseous smell is still strong even with the Dream Mattress Cover. Also, the bed is not as firm as I was led to believe. I'm going to give it a couple more weeks but I'm sorry to say that I will probably have to return it. Very disappointing.

We bought the king size mattress & foundation & love both of them!! Foundation was very simple to put together & bed was easy to set up. It is on the heavy side so getting it up the stairs was an adventure but def doable with two adults and the actual setup was very simple. The bed is amazingly comfortable! It’s firm but also has amazing give so it is perfect for both myself (who sleeps on my side & back) & my husband (who sleeps on his side & stomach). Overall amazing purchase!! Did a ton of research before buying the bed & def feel like we made the right decision. A deciding factor for me was the 15” height since there is no box spring & it is absolutely perfect size especially with the foundation height. There was some slight smell when we unpacked it but didn’t notice it for more then a day so it quickly fades. Would definitely recommend if you are in the market for a new mattress!!

Took a chance on buying online with not knowing what to expect. Well there is no BS here. They told me it could take up to 2 weeks before it would arrive out of California to North Carolina. Was here in 6 days. Unboxed it and WOW my sleeping is so much better now than ever before. Usually when I awake I can not just lay there. The mattress is built with pride. Quality design, stitching, fabric and sleeping. Love it.

I bought the mattress for a second home. I only get to sleep on it about one week a month. So far I like it more than my two year old mattress I spent a lot of money on. The DreamCloud is a little harder than I expected. I’d rate it a 6 or 7 for firmness. I still get a sore hip as a side sleeper, but it’s not as bad as my regular mattress.
