Great Shed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been looking for easy storage for the kids outside toys, lawn furniture etc. The Horizontal Storage Shed seems to be perfect for our needs. Now that it is put together I can foresee many uses for it now and in the future. It is very roomy inside, and things are very easy to access. Lifetime takes pride in their products and they are delivered very well packaged. Due to rain it was not put together for over a week after delivery. We ended up putting it together in the garage, and moving it to where we wanted it We plan on putting the shed on a foundation of some sort when the weather iproves. The assembly of the shed went well, the parts are laeled and the instructions are clear. The shed is very sturdy and looks nice. We look forward to all the diferent uses for it. It has a spring hinge lid that is easy to open and shut. The shed has an external locking mechanism that can be used with a padlock should the purchaser choose. We have put a few things in the shed and with our frequent downpours everything has remained dry. Larger items can be stored easily in it too. depending on your needs the shed can be used for many different storage options. We own many Lifetime products and have always been very happy with all of them.
Door Hinge Attachment Not Easy
The directions and YouTube assembly video are well done. The screws are fairly well segregated into different packages for body, doors and roof. However, they could have segregated further as there quite a number of them and variety. My biggest niggle is the attachment of the hinges to the doors. You are to drill through plastic and then go through a hole on a metal bracket. Of the eight screws that needed to align smoothly, only three have gone in without frustration. So far I have spent over an hour on these two steps (2.7 and 2.15) and still have not resolved my issue. Became frustrated and decided to revisit on another day. My mechanical skills are pretty good for a DYIer, so I suspect others may experience a similar issue.

Better manual
I was looking for a tall shed but ended up with this shed. The Youtube for this shed was easy to follow. Some of the holes in the shed did not line up with where the screw support was to be inserted., Both of the doors had problems inserting the screws into them. The manual that came with the shed SUCK. The manual should list the names of the products and sizes of screws
There is a visual I.D. of every part in the manual, and some of the larger pieces have measurements associated with them. Each part is not labeled individually since stickers would increase manufacturing costs, which would raise the sales price. We do have several assembly help options available if you run into questions, including; YouTube video tutorials, the BILT app, and also our customer service department is always a great resource. doesnt seal
I wated months to get this shed! Played with it in store every time i was in. Finally got it and put it together last week! well the lock you put on the bottome doesnt even latch, and when you close the doors there is a 1 inch gap!! the top of the lid has a small leak at the end of it by the latch. SO im really disappointed and scared to place things in it do to all the rain we've been getting! IF everything seals and is flushed in store then all costumers should expect the same. I wrote the warrenty company, but not sure what theyll do! will the send someone to correct it? replace it with one already built? because its definatly a 2/3 person job, and my dads no always available to help me

Junk
I had high hopes for this shed. Assembly was a bit of a pain but manageable. However, despite being on a solid, level surface the end product is rather flimsy. Getting the doors and lid to stay closed completely is difficult at best. After some relatively strong winds, my shed is a pile of trash. I do not recommend this unit for any sort of outdoor purposes.

Good bang for the buck, assembly quality is lacking
For the discounted price we picked this up for, it's great. The assembly instructions were easy, though it is not entirely easy to put together. Because it's plastic, not all the panels quite align, bolt holes don't match up. It's just all over the place. But thankfully because it's plastic, you're able to make it work anyway. Definitely a two person job. But I got it done solo and am happy to have it for storing all of our lawn equipment
Decent shed but screws lack instructions
I have two different brand sheds and this one took me longer to assemble. Not installer friendly when it comes to the screws. The screw labeling could use some work maybe if they put some extra money to separate all the screws in their proper name tag it wouldn't be so difficult. You definitely need another person to assemble one of the steps but other than that I did everything else by myself. The instructions aren't too bad but does need some work. There is another shed similar to this one in white with vents and would recommend that one instead. Overall it isn't too bad of a shed.

Love the shed
So glad we finally got one loving how big it is!! Took a minute to put it together about 4 hour to be exact and we are pretty handy ...but it has metal bars that makes it stable and will keep it from warping seems to be sealed well to keep the moisture out! We have a forecast for 20 inches of spring snow so we will see! Would not recommend putting it together on a hot day or in the sun! It was pretty cool when we did it but after being in the sun the plastic got a little soft and may cause screws to strip!! Loving this product so far!!!

Overall good quality
Bought this item about a month ago as we were moving. Put it together this week. The instructions left us very confused. There were a few holes that did not line up properly. Some Of the pictures were not clear enough to indicate the rotation needed. Would recommend that you put each screws in their own bags with the #’s on. We still have a problem lining up the latch. It seems we have to use the rubber mallet each time it is closed in order for the latch to connect. We would recommend a cord attached to pull down the lid when it is in the complete open position.
Horrible quality!
I wish I could leave 0 stars. It took two full days to put the thing together. With missing screws and mislabeled screws and horrible instructions. The metal slab that that holds the latch in the roof came down and hit me in the head after being drilled. This shed is horrible to have to put together.
