Good size shed

I purchased this to store my outdoor power tools. The box arrived from a shopping freight company in one big box. It took me approximately 5 hours to assemble by myself. The instructions were very thorough and easy to follow. The shed appears sturdy and well made. Time will see how well it holds up to the elements.

We made an outside laundry room!

I researched several items before making this purchase. We are building a new home & living in our RV on our build site for the next several months. I came up with a unique way to make life easier. This product couldn’t have been better. I love the versatility & durability of this horizontal shed. Once finished housing my outside washer & dryer, I will use it for outside storage of gardening items:)

Great shed for the price!

Great little shed! Especially for the price! It was time consuming to put together, but totally worth it. I think it took my husband and I about 5 hours for each shed (with intermittent breaks); so a total of about 10 hours given that we purchased two. You also have to have some strength, give that most of the holes are not predrilled.

Lifetime Sheds, The Best Choice!

This storage shed is just perfect, it did not take two people to assemble and everything for together just perfectly, AND it matches my larger shed, 8x7, that I purchased a few months earlier! Love them both!! I could not be happier with my chosen Lifetime sheds!

Exactly what I needed

This appears to be targeted to people that need a place to hide their large plastic dumpsters. To that end it should work work well, however I bought it to store yard equipment; a chipper, a large snowblower, and a small tiller. Assembly was not difficult but was time consuming and took me 2-3 hours. You’ll want to use a hand screwdriver for most of the assembly because the screws are all into plastic which can easily strip with a drill.

Perfect little shed

Perfect little shed, fits everything and looks great. Put it together by myself, but would have gone faster with the second person. No issues, love it.

Good product - needs 2 people to assemble

Fasteners come mixed in a couple bags but they are easily identified in the instructions using description, graphic and quantities. Be sure to follow instruction sequence as these are assembly reasons they are in the order that are presented.

Nice Shed. Poor Lid Design. The Good & The Bad.

Summary Review- The Good: Packaging, Shipping Partner, Instructions with QR-Code Video, Materials, Fastener Packaging, Lifetime Customer Service, 10-Year Warranty. The Bad: Split-Lid/Cover, Description, Doors, Metal Fasteners into Plastic. Detailed Review - Purchased this for a snowblower, and winter supplies. Built a paver platform for this shed, as it needs to be situated on a flat surface. As stated in “The Good” above, the item arrived and I was pleased with how Lifetime provides video instructions using their supplied QR-code. I have a vocational background, and this took me (one person) about 3.5 hrs. to construct, working carefully. Lifetime uses fasteners into plastic walls, lids & doors, so I suggest making each screw-into-plastic count, without over-tightening. You don’t want to strip these. It rained substantially the day after assembly, and unfortunately we received a good amount of water inside the shed wall and floor. A closer look showed water penetrated the “split lid.” (Lifetime uses two separate panels instead of one, that you must screw together at a center seam. I suspect using two panels instead of one has to do with packaging.) A chat session with Lifetime Customer Support concluded with Lifetime shipping a new lid (pending). Lifetime pointed out that this shed is not water-proof, rather it is water-resistant, and some water is to be expected. Understandable, as they do describe it as “weather resistant,” not weather proof. However, Lifetime’s description of this shed indicate it’s able to accommodate tools, lawn equipment, bikes [items that can “easily” rust] as well as trash bins. Lifetime Customer Support suggested using a bead of silicone caulking at the split-joint on the lid to hopefully prevent future water penetration. I will try this on the replacement lid, but want others to be aware of this should they decide to store anything delicate within. The other small issue is the doors. They are flimsy, and although they can be secured to the hasp on the lid, the doors do not lock solid at the floor. There is a plastic pin, that glides over a hole in the floor. They merely close, and can easily be pulled out. Lastly is the lid when extended & fully open. It uses struts which is great, but if you are short, this can be difficult to pull down. I suggest adding a pull-down cord of some type, especially if you have small children opening and closing this shed. We used Paracord for it durability. All in all, a nice shed. Just be certain to assemble on a flat surface and go easy on the fasteners. Just don’t expect the shed to be water-proof and well-secured, it’s not. Hope this review helps.

Nice shed, but had our issues

Nice shed, but we had our issues. One seam was cracked. We ended up having to buy more screws. We followed it and the YouTube video to a T. Wasn’t that hard to put together, but you really need two people for the whole process. The video said there was two steps that needed two people.

Good fit for us

Nice size shed for the money. We needed this for bikes and a few other items. Works great. I put it together in the garage and 2 of us moved it on dollies and a home made rail system to get it in the backyard (over rocks and dirt). Perfect for what we needed. Only had to rework one assembly item as the pic was not clear. Really like the steel reinforcements.
