I’ve had to go to war to get missing parts from other manufacturers, but this time Lifetime and Nathan are sending me a missing part no questions asked. Other manufacturers have so many policies that allow them to refuse service so what is he point to have it. Lifetimes customer service team fulfilled an important purpose and I am extremely happy because of it. I most certainly had a great experience which demonstrates that Lifetime cares about every aspect of their business and products. I will recommend their products to people I know and will remember the name when shopping for future products. Thank you Nathan and Lifetime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to store some gardening equipment and lawn furniture and it is perfect! This was easy to assemble. It only took a couple of hours. I’d recommend 2 people for holding sides and such up. It holds several of my stacking chairs, garden tools and even some of my kids toys. The top lifts up, both doors swing open, and there is even a latch for a lock. You can spray it with a garden hose for easy cleaning. Ours gets muddy with our lawn tools. It is rain resistant too!! This should last a good long time!

I wish I could give this a 5 star rating. The quality of the shed is awesome. Problem is the doors are way more complicated to put together than need be. I had no problem with the base, and the walls, but as soon as I got to the doors.... well I needed to go in the house and watch video's on how to put them together, then I actually brought the lap top out to rewatch the vids over and over as I followed the steps. After spending an entire day putting this little shed together, its still not done. I broke 4 drill bits trying to drill out the holes in the plastic for the hinges to mount to, so with that I called it a night. I will try again tomorrow to finish the build. I think the door hardware should have come preassembled, as well as the hinge holes being predrilled. The rest of the product seems to be really awesome.

I purchased this shed for the purpose of holding extra household goods and equipment; I hope this shed fulfills these requirements. Please be patient when putting together the shed. Not all parts are marked in a manner that is intuitive. We were missing one of the most important pieces to build this shed-the shed's lock loop. Between YouTube videos and instructions, it took two people six hours to assemble this shed. (If we had to do it again, it would likely take an hour and a half-easily.) You do not need to be a genius to install the shed, but you will need to be patient because the process is frustrating-satisfying once complete-but frustrating nonetheless. Many inner bags were not labeled, so we had to guess which nail or bolt fit the illustration-not too complicated. I am skeptical about the durability-concerned whether it will hold in high or tornado-type winds-but I anticipate the durability to last at least 5 years for normal wear and tear. I am giving it a 7 out of 10 stars for now under durability. The size is larger than I thought it would be. I like the different entries (top or front). I give this shed 10 out of 10 stars for functionality, features and versatility. My experience calling in to have the part shipped was fine. The customer service representative was kind and helpful. The process was smooth. (Don't throw away the instruction booklet-your model number and product ID are on it. You will need these when calling in for missing parts.) I hope it does not take a full week to receive the small part, but I have to wait. If you have patience to install this product, and you are seeking a nice project with a decent outcome, then give this shed a try. (I waited to order the part and completed the phone call in 35 minutes. The part will ship and I should have it in one week-I cannot purchase the missing part at a local hardware store.)

Purchased this from Lifetime and it arrived at my house in about three weeks. Took just at two hours putting it together — mostly by myself. There are only four parts that really require a second person: connecting the floor pieces together, adding the stiffening rails to the walls after you get them attached, attaching the doors to the main unit, and attaching the lid hinges to the main unit. All four of these require more hands and distance than a single human can accomplish. The rest can be assembled without assistance. As far as "site prep" this sits on my driveway. I had the asphalt company come out and pour a flat, level pad by the wall to set it on based upon the dimensions of the box online. I'd recommend if you do something similar to make it deeper than the dimensions of the box (luckily, I did). The lid, when in the upright position, sits slightly back from the back edge and requires the box to be not quite flush up against a wall so the foundation needs to be slightly deeper than the box itself to accommodate it.. There is one step that needs modification, and one part that needed adjustment in that step. When you are assembling the doors and connect the stiffening rails to the doors that are on the opposite side of the hinges, I recommend only putting a single screw in halfway and then attaching the hinges before putting the rest of the screws in. The instructions call for putting all of the screws in, and then attaching the hinges and trying to hit the holes in these rails blindly. The holes, unfortunately, are not aligned with the divots on the plastic. This is because each pair of holes in the inside rail are about 1/8" too far apart in relation to the divots on the injection moulded part, and if you screw it down tight you won't know which direction to angle the hinge screws on the second hinge. I had the same issue on BOTH doors, so clearly the door piece is slightly off what the metal piece's holes are. So, put the bar in with a single screw, halfway drilled. Then, put the hinges on. First one straight in and the second angled to hit the holes on the inside bar. Then, put the rest of the screws in for that stiffening rail. Repeat this on both doors. Otherwise, this was easy to put together and everything lined up well. Make sure you have a good, soft mallet so you can encourage pieces to fit together tightly and not damage the plastic.

I have kept this storage shed out in the winter rain and snow, and summer sun, of Corvallis, Oregon for the past year. It has held up perfectly. The shed holds three of my bikes; I could probably fit a fourth in there if I tried really hard. Alongside the bikes, I am also able to keep a bike rack and a few other small items in there. I originally bought this to prevent theft after losing parts off my bike, which had been locked to a bike rack, on multiple occasions. Nobody has ever broken into this shed. If you wanted to, you could bend the plastic open, but I think because would-be thieves cannot see into the shed to spot cameras or motion sensors (as I have installed), they don't try. I haven't cleaned the thing in the year I have owned it, and it still looks fine. I'm sure it would clean up well in its current state. My only complaint is that the hydraulic struts are a bit stiff. I'm sure there is a way to adjust this, but it's not a big enough problem to actually do so.

We had been leaving our trash bins in the garage and they would stink in the Michigan heat! It made our cars we park in the garage stink too! My husband and I put this together in no time and it has been great! Cans and recycle bins are kept dry and keep the critters out too.

The directions and YouTube assembly video are well done. The screws are fairly well segregated into different packages for body, doors and roof. However, they could have segregated further as there quite a number of them and variety. My biggest niggle is the attachment of the hinges to the doors. You are to drill through plastic and then go through a hole on a metal bracket. Of the eight screws that needed to align smoothly, only three have gone in without frustration. So far I have spent over an hour on these two steps (2.7 and 2.15) and still have not resolved my issue. Became frustrated and decided to revisit on another day. My mechanical skills are pretty good for a DYIer, so I suspect others may experience a similar issue.

We purchased 2 sheds from Costco a couple of years ago, the top-hinged lids started sagging. At first, it wasn't much, but now it's sagged enough to where rain will not shed off the roof but instead eventually leaks inside depending on rain amounts. We have never stored anything on top of the sheds to cause this. The sheds are on the North side of our house (in SoCal) and are not in direct sun most of the time, (eliminating any severe weather concerns)

I wated months to get this shed! Played with it in store every time i was in. Finally got it and put it together last week! well the lock you put on the bottome doesnt even latch, and when you close the doors there is a 1 inch gap!! the top of the lid has a small leak at the end of it by the latch. SO im really disappointed and scared to place things in it do to all the rain we've been getting! IF everything seals and is flushed in store then all costumers should expect the same. I wrote the warrenty company, but not sure what theyll do! will the send someone to correct it? replace it with one already built? because its definatly a 2/3 person job, and my dads no always available to help me
