Assembly was not as easy as the YouTube video showed. I needed some clamps to align some of the side pieces to conform to assembly directions. I used low torque settings on my drill (under 10) some screws tightened, some didn't. Main issue was with the lid, the slots that are supposed to accept the front and hinge hardware were blocked preventing the hardware from sliding in, I was advised that this was a manufacturing mistake. New lid pieces were shipped, hope the slits are clear so I can complete assembly. A little disappointed with the fit and finish but overall, I think the product will function well for its intended use.

This box is large and seems to be watertight, but was a bear to assemble. I purchased a similar one last year for a generator and put it together with no problems by myself. I just installed a pellet stove and needed a means to store the bags of pellets and thought of my generator box right away. That one was less expensive (~$250) and has nicer features than this one. It has physical latches on the doors, this one has nothing on the left door and the right door relies on the friction of a little plastic tab on the bottom. I was careful to not stack the pellets against the walls of the shed, but as you go up and add weight to the lower bags, they spread and put pressure on the sides of the shed. Now it's bowing out. Once these are gone I will line it with plywood to reinforce the sides. There were 2 steps where I absolutely NEEDED a second set of hands. Luckily my son and a buddy showed up at just the right time. I was able to fit one ton of pellets in the shed with some room to spare.

I searched for months online and in stores. It took me a while to find the best bang for the buck. I believe I chose well. These are made of good material and steel reinforced. It took me about 3 hours to build one by myself. Great product -- and Sam's Club price can't be beat!

Expected better from this brand. As a mechanical engineer I enjoy assembling new equipment, but this one was annoying in the vastness of different screw types and sizes. Designers could have easily standardized and reduced by half. Hardware was in about a dozen different baggies in odd quantities that had nothing to do with the assembly steps or labels. Plastic/steel holes mismatched in a few places, so had to re-drill to have screws sit flush. Plastic sags and warps under its own weight. Doors bow inward at the center and must be corrected every time the lid is closed. Exterior latch creates an entrapment hazard if kids close doors from the inside and lid comes down unintentionally. Lid is not water tight down the middle seam, so requires a bead of silicone during assembly.

the bags of screws and bolts were not labeled to match the instructions, The instructions also didn’t note that it required. at least 2 or even 3 people to assemble. We also had to use a drill on the metal rods, as the so called self tapping screws, were not. My husband broke a screw driver bit and cut his hand while doing so. It also was an 8 hr job to assemble the shed. It was a nightmare!!!

I have been a fan of Lifetime products for a ling time. I was extremely dissatisfied with this last purchase. Just put this unit together about five days ago. Didn't get a chance to put anything in there yet. We a rain event yesterday and appears there was a leak. I can not recommend.

I rated this box at 4 STARS simply because of the poor directions and the bag of unlabelled screws and bolts. So many reviewers have commented and it should be simple for the vendor to correct this over sight. But the box is a great size and configuration for garbage cans, bicycles or whatever. It took me about 6 to 8 hours to assemble by myself. The lid is water tight, there is no leakage from heavy rain. The box has a nice appearance and I think it will make you happy.

It took 2men 4 hours to put this together. There were several incorrect pieces in the box. They had to use tools to cut and piece things together. Also, there were pieces that are supposed lock together like a puzzle. It was not doing it. We had to used extra force. If this wasn’t a large item, I would have returned it immediately

I purchased this shed online. Delivery took 14 days and it arrived in good shape. I highly recommend TWO people assemble as some of the steps require holding large pieces in place while inserting screws. I would have given the shed 5-stars, BUT some of the screws tend to strip in the plastic. When assembling you must be careful with your power drill or you will strip screws fairly easily. Make sure you also take the time to build a nice foundation (if you don't already have one) for your shed (as recommended). I poured a concrete foundation 80"W x 48"D x 4"D and it works well.

This shed is very sturdy. Several support bars and plenty of hardware to hold it together. Took two of use 3 hours, at a leisurely pace, to assemble. In my opinion, you need two people. The shed is much much more sturdy than the one it is replacing. Looks great too! I would definitely purchase from Lifetime again.
