$400 plastic JUNK
Very disappointed in this LESS than Life Time product. The video is helpful, however things do not just slide together. They also need a comparison chart for the screws as they are not labeled in packs as they call them out. As many others have mentioned having to McGyver things together. I have been a technician for 20 years and still had to allow two days to avoid frustration. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Only half the hardware in box
It took two weeks for lifetime to get this shed to me. box was not damaged or had anyholes. but halfway through I found out that I did not have no where near the screws I needed to finish the shed. Being my only day off I just went to the my local hardware store to buy screws. Three trips later I got it done. Doors wont close right because I could not find the right screws i needed to put the hinges on correctly. waste of money and time.
Oh no! We are sorry to hear that you were missing parts. We would be happy to send you the replacement parts you need to get your shed working properly. Please email us at reviews@lifetime.com.
17 different types of screws. Why?!?!
I know we tend to skip the instructions on a lot of things we buy, but this is not one of them. Save yourself a lot of frustration and read through all the instructions and watch the video once or twice. If you have good knees you can do like the video. If not, set up a work table. Do these things and maybe you’ll be done in 4 hours instead of 8 hours over 2 days.
We're sorry you had trouble assembling your new shed. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us at reviews@lifetime.com.
Generator Shed
Perfect home for my standby generator! I built a level pad with 2" thick concrete pavers to set the shed on and now my generator is always in position and ready to go in the event of a power failure. I can prop the lid and the doors when it's running. Down the road I may modify the unit with sound proofing and an exhaust ventilation in order to keep all the doors closed and quiet down the noise from the generator but for now it's great!
Great Shed.... Easy Build
Recently, I had been searching for a new storage shed for my back yard. This model kept coming up and seemed perfect. After reading a lot of reviews, i had some concern that it might be difficult to build and I'd run into some issues, but i went with it anyways. Well i will tell you, I am a 35 year old woman and i had zero trouble putting this together completely by myself.... in 4 hours. The instructions were very clear, the parts all came in labelled bags which went with the step of the instructions you were on... all in all, pretty clear and easy. Even the lid was simple to put together. I waited to review until after the rain last night to be sure, but it's completely dry inside, no issues at all. Perfect little shed.
Large and watertight
This box is large and seems to be watertight, but was a bear to assemble. I purchased a similar one last year for a generator and put it together with no problems by myself. I just installed a pellet stove and needed a means to store the bags of pellets and thought of my generator box right away. That one was less expensive (~$250) and has nicer features than this one. It has physical latches on the doors, this one has nothing on the left door and the right door relies on the friction of a little plastic tab on the bottom. I was careful to not stack the pellets against the walls of the shed, but as you go up and add weight to the lower bags, they spread and put pressure on the sides of the shed. Now it's bowing out. Once these are gone I will line it with plywood to reinforce the sides. There were 2 steps where I absolutely NEEDED a second set of hands. Luckily my son and a buddy showed up at just the right time. I was able to fit one ton of pellets in the shed with some room to spare.

Lifetime Shed Review
Shed good size for the price. Doors tend to curve out when closed. Four extra bars would keep the doors aligned. For each door, put one on top and one on the bottom, this will reinforce the flatness and keep from curving in or out. Free shipping would beat Lowe's price for similar size. Design wise, a flat top area would seal a lot better with the lid. One smooth angle, avoiding the back flat area.
Do not buy this product. It leaks big time.
Bought this in July 2021. Delivery comes by freight truck. Last mile delivery was by local franchisee for Pilot. Box all torn up. Delivered in a rental truck. Box all torn up. Looks as it had been handled by the gorillas in the airport baggage handling commercials. It took my grandson and I 8 hours to put together. This was after we both viewed the online videos of how to put together. They do it in a nice, pristine environment - nothing like what you will face at your house. After putting it together, except for hasp portion, we put top down for the night. It rained. Opened door next day, water all over floor. Finished installing hasp - directions of no help here. Put top down. It rained again that night. Opened doors next day; rain on floor.. Chatted with Lifetime rep via computer. They wanted pictures of inside to determine which pieces they needed to send. Lifetime Tech was even trying to tell me that we should expect some rain to get in if it was windy when raining!!! There was no way I was going to dismantle that thing and put it back together. After putting caulk on all the vertical and horizontal seams. We closed it up. It rained. Water back inside. Final try was to cover top with tarp. It rained. Water inside again. So it appears that the top design is inferior. I caulked seam in top but caulk did not take fully in all places after closer investigation. Also top has three holes in rear where hinges are located that are completely open. Poor design by Lifetime. Again, DO NOT BUY. Should you chose to do so, then get a good tube of quality exterior caulk. Do seams both inside and outside and maybe it won't get wet insdie. Lifetime makes good tables and chairs. Stay away from the horizontal shed until quality control is much better.
Our Shed products are weather resistant, but not water tight or water proof. Water can get between the seams of the roof panels which is then collected by the truss channel and drained outside the shed.
Serves the purpose
It’s fine. It will serve the purpose for garbage cans. Kinda scuffed up so for price that was disappointing, but once they wrestle the box from the truck and leave. Then you open and see the damage, what are you going to do about it? Was a bit of a hassle getting it here. Had 5 different delivery dates. When forward trucking finally called me, for the real delivery date, the gal on the phone was about as friendly as a rattlesnake and all I had asked is they call my husband’s phone on the delivery day, since he would be the one at home that day and I at work.
