I bought this along with pork butts for my daughters graduation party! Both turned out amazing, but the star of the food show was the brisket. Great product, great price and easy to purchase in advance on the App and did an in store pickup which was quick and easy.

Awesome brisket for sandwiches at fundraising events

Got 5 in the case. various sizes. from 8-15 lbs. cooked up evenly. all went on at the same time and came off at the same time. the price for the lesser cuts (choice/select) has been creeping up closer to the prime price so i went with a prime case this time. noticeable difference in the amount of fat i had to trim off with these. the meat was more uniform and nice.

Trimmed well, good quality, and smoked beautifully

These briskets have been less expensive than any of my food vendors for a couple of months. Now they are more expensive but I do trim off less fat than any of theirs so Sam’s still has the better value. On average I trim about 2 lbs. less fat off Sam’s brisket than I do from the others for a savings of $8-10 off each brisket. I buy by the case so I’m not able to choose my briskets so I get a wide variety of sizes. I do prefer briskets above 15 lbs which I rarely get so that’s why I didn’t give a 5 star rating.

these are not prime. the fat marbling is on par with choice. even worse, the fat between the muscles is so thick that i've cooked 2 of these now and on both of them my probe ended up (initially) in the fat instead of the meat. "trimmed" clearly by someone that had only heard of the process by rough description. flat meat is super thin - more fat cap than meat. 4 briskets in the case, all around 20 lbs each - trimmed at least 5 lbs off each one so far. get the cryovac in the meat counter. don't get these sight unseen.

I’m sorry to say that the trimmed brisket wasn’t worth the extra money versus the reg brisket that I usually purchase. I still had a lot of waist to trim away. I purchase a case a week and 2 cases of pork butts and 2 cases of ribs.
