This is the only brand of cream cheese I buy for my homemade cheesecake. It makes the taste and texture very nice and not cheap at all. It's perfect. It is a bit pricier than a store brand but so worth it. I would only ever recommend this cream cheese for homemade anything that requires it.

Is there truly any other brand of cream cheese? Philly is a staple I any kitchen, Not only is it the perfect amount of tangy, and cheesy, but its always soft enough to use. Even if its directly out of the fridge. It whips up nicely into icing and sauces but is firm enough to spread.

I have bought Philadelphia plain cream cheese for years. This is a consistent classic cream cheese that is never watery and works well in our favorite crab dip. We also love this cream cheese with caramel sauce poured over it and topped with Heath pieces, we use apple slices to put this on and it is outstanding.
