I purchased the Atgames Legends Ultimate from Sams about a year ago. I wanted to own it for awhile before leaving my review. It arrived to my house undamaged, it was well packaged and handled by Fedex. I unblocked the unit and assembled it without issues. I went online and updated the firmware and started to use the arcade right away. I found the list of included games to be quite good, with some major titles that took advantage of the controls, which are impressive, two joysticks, two spinners, and even a trackball. Centipede looks and plays fantastic as does Black Widow. Boogie Wings is another stand out title. What I like about the ALU is the upgradability. I added a BitLCD to mine and its amazing. I also appreciate the ability to side load games and even purchase games directly from Atgames. The Activision pack plays so well here with over 40 titles for 25 bucks. After having it for a few months I sold off my Arcade1ups and my iircade as the ALU was better than either of them in just about every meaningful way. The screen size and quality far surpassed both and the amount of games and controls were also reasons I moved on from the other two brands. Atgames has the best affordable multicade out there hands down.

Bought this last month as early Christmas present for my kids. Was going to wait to open it but figured I better open it to make sure not broken as I had read reviews where that is common. Well those reviews are correct, the upper cabinet is broken. And now that I check if available so I can exchange I find they went on sale this month and now out of stock.

Probably THE most flexible and open gaming platform on the market today. If you love mixing retro gaming with the ability to add the latest and greatest this is a great project. Easy to assemble and a great community. At this point I really don't have anything bad to say about it.

This arcade is great wasn’t a fan of the game line up but love the net play games . The ability to stream games is officially free from local serve steam games off your pc . This is amazing . The updates are great !!!! The new 4 player support u will be able to play with any usb controllers for addition players !!! I’m just blow away by these updates from atgames !!!! I wasn’t impressed with previous atgames flash back games but this is just on a whole new level !!! If u are thinking about getting a arcade 1 up which I was on the fence about . Save your money and buy this!!! It has all the controls u would want and unbelievable esay set up !!! Very easy to upgrade if u don’t like the stick joy sticks but . I feel very content with what they provide me with out of the box !!! The Sam’s editions is 100 dollars less then other places it just make sense to get this .. don’t sleep on this one guys its a great machine!!!

At this price-point ($500), it's the best I've seen, around. The community around the Legends machine & CoinOpX is HUGE! There are lots of support/walk-thrus available on YouTube. The controls are great! Using the trackball for the shooters is very nice & smooth. The pinball-controls (SAMS exclusive?) are nice, but haven't found much use for them, yet. The only good pinball games I've seen/played, so far, the flippers are kinda laggy. Why not 5-STARS? Even though it comes with 200 games...they are, mostly, NOT the arcade games you want/love...no Frogger...no Pac-Man...no Donkey Kong, etc. Out of the 200 games...maybe 10-12 are good...and, again...NO CLASSIC STAND-UP ARCADE GAMES. The Star Wars games they advertise are NOT the stand-up-arcade classics...they're SEGA games. ...but not to fret: CoinOpX. Yes, with the help of YouTube & the love from CoinOpX community...you can, very easily, add 1,500 games...MOST of which, are ALL of the arcade-classics that you're looking for. The Legends' on-line stuff isn't great. Nothing super interesting going on there.

Excited to pick this cabinet up after eying the competition for a long time but worried about being locked into just a few games. The Legends Ultimate is perfect nostalgia and a great quick play option compared to most console games with long play and long loading times. The expandable option is nice for when I get my tinkering urge too. Looking forward to the fun customizable marquee and light gun options too. On the criticism side my cabinet came with a deformed monitor frame that makes the bezel pop off. Support was responsive and offered some concessions although I'm still waiting on a potential new part. I drove over 2 hours one way to get this so I wasn't excited to try a return since it functions overall. The firmware updates can be flakey and I ended up needing to run an ethernet cable after fighting wifi issues introduced from one of the updates. Recommended if you're patient and willing to tinker or deal with some hiccups while having a fun arcade that is quite capable in your home.

Well, I ordered the first generation from another retailer and had some issues with the quality of the build. It seems they have resolved the issue with this newest build, which is much more sturdy and not terribly hard to put together as some have complained. The USB addon x and coinops is truly awesome and can expand your gaming from 300 to several thousand with ease. This cab is not perfect, but for the price, you get every penny you pay for. As a bonus, I highly recommend the pre-installed game "Zombie At My Neighbors". Truly a great game and fun to play.

I just purchased this a couple of weeks ago. Was easy to assemble. Came shipped via Fedex in perfect condition. Small niggle on assembly is there were no pilot holes for screwing in the 3 screws for the front panel. No biggie, but if AtGames is reading maybe take a look at it for future production runs. I know a lot of people are upset about the removal of CoinOpsX, but at least currently for $100 you can get full ability to connect other devices and load your own games. I don't think that's unreasonable. I loaded a bunch of extra games. Still some things to work through on the ROMs, but overall it's a great platform as is and to mod if you want to. If you think you will only use it occasionally, it's a bit pricey, but for the gamer it's a no brainer honestly. Good purchase and looking forward to years of enjoyment with family and friends.

I was so excited to get this machine and put it together. Had to wait to play the next evening and the main A button on the left controller stopped working. Then I start reading about warranty and it is only 30 and the customer is responsible for shipping!! WOW!! If I hear back from the Atgames team we will see if I keep it or not.

Bring own games doesnt work great with latest updates, costs $100 and woks crappier that ever before. Ordered the Activision games they load yet don't work. Atgames doesnt answer calls or emails. Steam games doesnt connect. Zero support. Order Arcade 1Up instead. This is a heaping piece of trash.
