AtGames Legends Ultimate Arcade is Fantastic!

I have enough real arcade cabinets for a mini arcade, and this is the best thing I’ve ever bought as far as quality, expandability, ease of use, and future upgrades. Simply a phenomenal bang-for-the-buck purchase. I wish Sam’s Club could keep them in stock because so many people want them! AtGames had a pretty low reputation before, but this knocks it out of the park.

Good game for the price.

Good arcade for the price. Easily modified to add games. Cabinet is not made of the best material, but sturdier than expected. Looks good when set up and it is not a small one like the one up machines. Screen is nice and big and game controls easily fit two people for gaming. We like the feature of the company upgrading and adding as time goes on!

Awesome arcade!

Good so far! Love the quality and size of the arcade. Brings back good memories! I love that I am able to experience this type of gaming at home. The possibilities are endless with this arcade. Its jammed packed with features that other arcades do not offer. My kids love it!

Deceptively Delightful Arcade Gaming at First Look

For the price, you are not going to get a better option. The arcade out of the box provides a really nice presentation of a home arcade with 2 player controls complete with 6 buttons each, 2 spinners, a rewind button, 1 and 2 player buttons, a decent trackball, a nice clear screen, and a good arcade cabinet with okay graphics on the side (cabinet could use a little work, but it still okay), however, the selection of games (some duplicates on different platforms) gives one the impression they are trying to pad the games list of 350 (see full list at the ATGames website), the rare additions of the Disney games makes a nice addition of family friendly gaming. Most of the games play faithfully, but with the most recent update to the firmware the RASTER games have gotten a much needed update to the graphics. ATGames provided several really cool ways to improve your arcade by adding your previously purchased ATGames products, and provide a extra dongle that has some additional games and can be connected up via the rather cool HDMI (x2) and USB (x2) interfaces, truly one of the most fascinating and amazing additions they provided in the hardware of the cabinet. ATGames also has provided some rather nifty solutions so far, for instance, we are up to firmware version 3.0.16 at the time of this review. Each revision to the firmware has provided bigger and better advances. As an option for the daring gamers out there, a selection BETA firmware releases that provided a test bed adoptions to the arcade, such as providing Bluetooth systems that allow a user to connect up their own equipment (Retropie, PC, what have you). Please keep in mind if you choose to use the beta options and wish to revert, you will need to RESET your arcade, but wow, does it open up some amazing possibilities. Also advances in their software have set it up to where you can stream from your PC for free by downloading the software on you Windows 10 PC and virtually play any game you want with no pesky time limits! ATGames also offer a BYOG options for Steam, Good Old Games, Origin, and others, but most will find that the purchase of the to use their streaming servers will be rather costly ($1 per hour presently). Also users have access to a thing called ArcadeNET which allows for additional games to be played, purchased, streamed and downloaded. And recent updates have made it possible to connect up with other Arcade Legends owners and play together and track scores for games. Future updates which some are already testing will allow users to add there own content via and add-on option, but that like the BETA firmware is still not officially available at this point. It is my belief that if the updates continue to improve on this home Arcade and this system is well worth the money and this product will only go up in price, so get it while it is still cheap!

Almost perfect

The machine has been great. The family is enjoying it very much. My gripe is with the construction. The Plexiglas that covers the screen was loose and covered the usb inputs and volume controls. I had no idea where the volume controls were. The decals also did up perfectly so a little bummed about that, but overall, very happy.

Love this thing!

My brother bought one of these and I liked it so much I bought one for myself. Brings back a lot of memories of being at the arcade and playing my older game systems. It’s a bit light weight but still full size and not cheaply made. I’m really enjoying it. For the money it’s hard to beat.

Best unit for for for money hands down

We absolutely LOVE this unit, I currently have 7 arcade units ranging from original 80s units to some 3/4 height ones and this full size cabinet with large 24 inch monitor has it all and is most used unit. Rewind feature is awesome for getting past some tricky spots, ability to save games that originally could not is awesome, the spinners are great and it's easy to import other games via USB dongles, plug and play ready with blast games!

The ONLY Home Arcade You Will ever Need

I was hesitant to order this and have it shipped across the country but that's what I did and I was super happy with the results. The machine got a few nicks on the silver edge around the cabinet in shipping, but nothing that couldn't be rubbed out. Nothing was broken, which I understand is a fairly common occurrence on shipping these units (some of the smaller MDF pieces arrive broken). FYI, FedEx just dropped this thing in my driveway about four feet from my front door, didn't ring the bell or notify me it had arrived... It took a bit longer than the 10 minutes to assemble (about 40), and we had one minor issue where a wire had become disconnected from the control panel (either it was never connected or my wife pulled out the wire when we were fishing for the connectors to attach the control deck) but thankfully, it just needed to be plugged into the proper port. I bought this cabinet because I already have a cocktail arcade table and wanted a standing one - but one with a trackball and paddles/spinners. I was going to get an Arcade 1Up machine, but I am sooooo glad I waited and bought this one instead. I brought from Sam's Club because it was on sale (499) and came with the pinball controller pack in. This is the best deal out there for this cabinet - glad I bought it here. The build of the cabinet is great. It's MDF, again, thankfully I had no broken parts - but parts for assembly and instructions were easy to use and follow. Games - 300 of them - lots of old Atari 2600 games, and a good bunch of super rare arcade titles - for this old school gamer it was exactly what I was looking for - mainly though I'll download my own ROMs and play them using almost dead accurate arcade controls. Staying at home doesn't seem so bad now... Overall, I am extremely pleased with the cabinet and ordering experience through Sam's Club. There are other cabinets out there - but this one is more than suitable to scratch your arcade fix (the At Games network and download and being able to play your own ROMS just seal the deal) - and it doesn't cost thousands of dollars. Considering purchasing a second one...

Legends Ultimate Arcade

For what I paid for it and what this arcade can do it is an awesome machine. The only problem I had with it was upgrading the firmware. I just hard wired it into my router to update machine and everything was fine from there. They should have included more detailed instructions with machine but I got through it.

Great controls, many great games, passable display

Love the spinners for games like tempest and trackball for games like missile command and millipede. Cabinet is easy to put together though some care is needed for screwing posts into pressed wood. Came with 1 very noticeable dead pixel on a so-so 24" monitor. Of the 300 built in games maybe 10% are really good in my opinion. But you can add your own roms to get many more 80s/90s arcade or console games. Or you can plug in a PC or raspberry pi and use the controls for that via USB or Bluetooth. Streaming games and online competitions may be of interest to some but not me. The built in interface for choosing games is lacking any flair but the boring grid lets you find the game of interest. You can add much more polished coinops X interface to your own roms or copies of roms already on the cabinet which adds in game video clips, sound, and animation to the selection process but that does require a connection to atgames network (and also requires a bit of sleuthing on the internet assuming you don't want to be that bad person who buys USB loaded with illegal roms, possibly putting many legitimate use cases of emulation at risk). The screen and controls are good for someone 5'5" tall but quite low for me@6' . I'm considering getting a riser or stool but can survive for a half hour at a time as is. It has flexibility in how it renders classic game video but combination of low powered GPU/CPU and lowish quality 24" LCD panel results in compromises and I often long for a multi sync analog monitor for truer replication. But it is certainly good enough for most casual players. For my money it is a way better deal than most arcade 1up cabinets as it plays way more games and is usable without a riser.
