The shipping process is too rough for this unit. Mine came broken and chipped/severely scratched and dented with screws ripped out and missing or in the bottom of the box causing scratches/damage. So I'd suggest to buy it in the store. That to the side, the software appears to be somewhat beta. Wifi is unreliable at boot-up. Even if connected, ArcadeNet's login doesn't log-in automatically and complains there's no network (even though there is). It's a struggle to get it back on-line. There are numerous wireless glitches. But if you just want a basic unit to play without the wifi/subscription features, it's nice. The controls are great and very genuine arcade-like. It'll play games off USB with a bit of work. You'll want to look into this because it's missing some of the bigger titles people might expect. But it does have some great titles like Tempest and Asteroids. The Disney titles appear to be largely Sega console games.

We bought this unit for Christmas and overall it is a slick unit that has a lot of miscellaneous games on it - nothing top tier in the list of 300 except for maybe Tempest or Crystal Castles. My husband was hesitant because he was pretty sure that it wouldn't have everything we would want to actually play on it, but he was, and still is, pretty sure that he could modify it with what we want. I had concerns that I wouldn't be able to tear our two boys away from it, but it turns out that wasn't an issue. They spent five minutes on it until they figured out that they were unable to play anything together, and they have not come back to it since (there was a cry of "Where's Rampage!"?). Every title is set to 'solo' mode, even the original Atari Combat!, which is a terrible game but at least it did multiplayer back in 1978. We are subscription-avoiders, and I suspect that this can be addressed by a monthly subscription that we will not be getting, or by whatever what my husband has in mind that may or may not work. I hope that we will eventually get more enjoyment out of it without spending $25/month for the next ten years.

Set up and build are easy. Two people make it a breeze. Sturdy, graphics look great, games are retro and soooo fun. It is top-heavy, so strap it to the wall with the included anchors. Time is the test and it remains to be seen as to its reliability. So far, so good. Use a computer to register your account. Fun for kids and adults alike.

Great arcade cabinet. No need to buy a riser as anyone with average height will be able to play without slouching. The true gem of this arcade unit is the capability of adding CoinOpsX! This upgrade is a must for this machine. The only gripe I have about this unit is that the speakers are a bit tinny in comparison to an Arcade1up. Overall, I am very satisfied and I highly recommend this arcade.

I'm pretty happy with mine. Plays Tempest like a dream. It's really easy to customize per-game settings(like trackball sensitivity) which is a big plus. Runs arcade ROMs from a USB flash drive. You can even stream your gameplay to Twitch on this thing!

Out of the box, the screen had bad pixels... mostly concentrated in center of screen. Contacted AtGames support and they said they cannot accept a return since the number of pixels is below the industry standard that’s allowed. So, if I were to have two more pixels burnt out I could receive a replacement screen. But, lucky me.... I have to live with the three burnt out pixels right in the center of my screen. Customer service email responder was also not very customer friendly.

No damage to the unit but when fully assembled. The unit seems sturdy. The problem is when I plugged it in, the LED on light just blink. Tech support asked to take the back off which something i should not do for a $500 unit. Anyhow, took off the back, everything looked plugged in, same problem. Tech support said maybe you try another power outlet? What!! another outlet. Anyhow, sending it back now. what a hassle. 30 min to assemble. another 30 min top dissemble and repack.

Cabinet was in great shape but a couple of buttons and the left joystick didn't work right. AND I AM NOT SHIPPING IT BACK took long enough to get it. Then two days after I bought this for $698 after tax, took 5 days to process, then it was shipped, but it was late delivery. Then they went on sale for $499 before tax while being processed, and did I get reimburse the difference NO. I would give it a 2.5 star. After spending right at $700 then had to replace the joystick and a couple of buttons at the cost of another $35 now it is right.

Great machine- easy to put together, and fun! The downside? Customer service! I’ve contacted these people on five occasions asking how to update the firmware with no response or instructions. And beware, all the new machines need to be updated. If you’re not well-versed in tech, you will need someone to help you.

I bought this at my local store, got it home. Went together quite easily, powered right up. When trying to create an account it says "cannot create an due to possible fraud". This makes absolutely no sense at all. There is nothing on their website about it. I sent an email to their support, so lets see if they reply. But right now I am getting ZERO use out of a $550 purchase.
