Best price, great product

Right away seeing the craftsmanship, makes it obvious why this brand demands a higher price tag. This is an heirloom item. It is a dutch oven I am going to treasure.

While this is an absolutely beautiful piece, as are all Staub pieces, I expect better pricing from Sam's. This piece is a full 20% less on bith Zwilling's and Sur la Table's sites.

I have other Staub cast iron. This has a lot of bubbles in the glaze. I didn't expect this to be a second, however, from the quality of this pan, I assume it is. The French Blue is beautiful. I think these chips and nicks will get worse with use. So disappointed. I'd like to add photos but I don't see a place to do so.

Beautiful cast iron pot. Performs well. The black enamel interior browns well. Good for soups, sauces, or casseroles. The texture inside the lid allows moisture to circulate keeping your creation moist and full of flavor. The exterior's rich color with the fleur de lis detail looks beautiful on the table. Excellent quality!

The Staub essential French oven is a great size for medium size meals. I like that this dutch oven is more curved than traditional dutch ovens. Also with the lid, they took the self-basting aspect from their traditional dutch oven lids and made the lid on the essential oven have that same aspect, so that way your food won’t dry out and instead comes out amazing. The Fleur de Lis design on the lid just adds that extra French aesthetic to this made in France essential oven.
