This is not only a beautiful cast iron pot, Staub is one of the best. I have several LeCreuset pieces and this is just as good for a third the price. Makes wonderful bread, soups and stews! Love it!

Beautiful and wonderful to cook heat. Holds heat well, heats evenly. It is small for making soup etc but it serves a purpose. I’ve got an 8 qt for massive post of soup. So glad I purchased this. Got a second for a housewarming gift.

Lovely to work with and the colour is so rich. Perfect size. Not too big not too small.

I bought the dark blue version. I have other Staub products but this one is stunningly beautiful! It will stay on display in my kitchen when it is not in use. My daughter used it for dinner last night and of course, it was superb. I'm so glad I bought it before it sold out.

If you are looking for something special for someone special during this holiday season, GRAB THIS ONE UP. Anybody who knows Staub would be over the moon to have this gorgeous cocotte in their kitchen. This stunning Specialty cocotte is adorned with the rare Fleur-de-lis emossed lid and in the rare French Bleu color. No other store sells this; it is a very rare piece. This is a very SPECIAL dutch oven and is hands down a ridiculously inexpensive price; half the price of any other Staub special 3.75L cocotte. But this is not just a specialty cocotte, it is RARE. Staub has superior craftsmanship and decades long reputation for being the finest cast iron available in the world. Other companies are manufacturing their dutch ovens in China now but Staub is holding true to their French origin. Even if your family has an agreement to never give tools, appliance or kitchen 'stuff' as gifts, trust me when I tell you that anybody who received this as a gift would be thrilled with this piece and I'm sure it would be proudly displayed on the counter for everybody to see! I ADORE this French Bleu color and was so happy to also find a Staub Everyday Pan in French Bleu here at Sam’s Club so bought both! The two pieces I have been wanting for a couple years now and in such a pretty color. How could I stop myself at this price? Sam’s club knows how to spoil me! Get it. Get it! GET IT!!! You'll be a hero.

This is my most disappointed online shopping! The paint on the handle of the staub cast-iron pot has been removed, there are two obvious friction marks on the side of the pot that cause the color to turn white, and there are two obvious holes in the bottom and lid of the pot. It was clearly a steel pot full of flaws, and these flaws were not noted on the seller's promotional page. Although I have always liked the design and color of staub, and I can accept the small differences caused by hand work, I cannot tolerate such obvious damage and defects, I have to return it! This is wasting my time!
