Angie helped correct improper mounting service!

I’ve always used handy or Home Depot Pro referral to mount my tv but I decided to use Angie through Walmart because of the price. Travis who was the TV mounter who claimed he has his own business did a horrific job. He did not property install the anchor on the bottom right and he failed to latch the top left hook on the bracket which was not the worst part of the work, the worst part was he did not secure the screws into the back of the tv property. Angie was able to send someone else free of charge to correct the issue and the person that came I highly recommend.

My pro “needed a ride”

They scheduled it at 9pm so I reached out to the pro to confirm and he ended up texting me that he needed a ride. I then said when were u planning on letting me know u needed a ride? He then said my bad and ended up coming. He put the tv up just fine. I helped him carry the 65in tv. And tipped him $40 but the needing a ride part so unprofessional.

the installer did not have the tools to install my TV's, he had me looking in my house for the tools that he needed to install my TV's, did not know how to unhook the cable from my old TV's, I had to ask him if he should put the brackets that was laying on the table and he said oh yes, alot of the screws were not used, I just hope my TV's don't fall off the walls, I will never use Angie's services again!

Is after paying the almost $80 my tvs on the floor

After taking the TV off the wall and setting it on my couch which he left it on my couch and I couldn't lift it to move it I had to get somebody over here to do it he also took the Walmart a wall mount a park even though it didn't fix the other one none of the screws are there the walmart's wall mount is just laying there without the screws so I'm stuck I can't hang the original TV back because he lost all my screws so my T v's on the floor I had to get somebody else to help me move ATV off the couch and I paid 77 bucks thanks Angie

Don’t waste your time

We got our TVs mounted with Walmart two years ago and had a great experience, HOWEVER, we moved and tried to work with them again and it’s been a disaster, Walmart partners with angi list and the pros are unprofessional. We had two pros cancel last minute, I suggest using thumbtack or yelp to find a pro to mount your tv.

Could have found better mounting services myself

The pro didn’t bother to read or use the instructions for the mount. Nor did he use the screws that came with it. He kept blaming the problem on the mount not being the right size for standard housing wall studs. He had to leave %26 return later with an assistant. I requested that the job be completed as I knew it wasn’t my house’s structure nor the standard mount that was correct for my tv size. So I ended up with numerous holes in my burgundy colored wall. No patch up or anything. Tv is mounted but is very unstable and I feel like it can’t be touched or moved (it’s supposed to swivel).

Worst Service Experience!!!

Very dissatisfied. Would rate this a 0. Never ever use this service. My appointment for a tv installation has been a complete nightmare and Walmart refuses to help or give a refund and Angi's completely useless as well. I was on the phone with customer service for over 90 minutes with no resolution, only run around. If you use this service its at your own risk. T.V's still in the box and lost money by using an incompetent company.

Careful Some Of Their Employees Are A Scam!

The “Pro” never arrived or attempted to call me, I was waiting for them but never received a call or a knock at the door although they had my address and apartment number and everything, they just sent a message at 7:15 saying they will be there until 7:30am I exactly came put at 7:30am because I had missed the text but no one was there, than when I called him everything sound sooo off, I guess he wasn’t expecting I had a ring camera in my apartment that could show my parking lot and a fence he needs to call to come in through, so I went effectively in my camera whiched confirmed what I suspected which is that no one ever showed, this literally just happened this morning, so be careful with this service app because they will claim they did the impossible to try and reach you but didn’t and then charge for a full a services they never showed up for because of their cancelling policy, I didn’t cancelled, your guy never came!

You (Walmart) never gave the installer the information regarding the 70" TV that I paid to have mounted. They sent out one person to mount a 70" TV? I had confirmed with Angi the size but it was too late. It hasn't been mounted because I have to contact you to reschedule the service and make sure you will send out 2 people. Will you please reschedule this appointment with 2 people ASAP??!!
