Don't Use Angi for TV Mount Installation Services

Completely inept installation services. First sent two people who drilled holes too high in the wall for television mount; they could not repair the holes. Had to assist them with correct placement of tv on wall. Called Angi to report and request fix of holes in wall. Next service person did not speak English and did not know what needed to be done. Angi attempted to schedule a third service call. I declined. Returning television and mount. Never again!

Angi's list services are a fraud and we are stuck

Scheduled appointment without consulting us or knowledge of our schedule. Angi's list has no provider in our area yet scheduled an appointment time. Wall mount has not arrived, yet an appointment is scheduled. Was very difficult to contact Angi's list. I would cancel and ask for a refund but cannot find a way to do so on Walmart's website. We will never buy again.

This was my first time purchasing an item with installation through Walmart. I ordered a 65” TV and a TV mount, and I added the professional mounting service to my cart at checkout. For future customers, here’s how it works since it isn’t explained very clearly: once you place your order, Walmart forwards the installation request to Angi. About two days after my purchase, I received an email from Angi with a scheduled appointment for the TV mounting. If your item hasn’t arrived yet, or if the appointment time doesn’t work for you, you can easily reschedule through the Angi app. In my case, the TV arrived on time, but I needed a different appointment window, and rescheduling was quick and simple. The installer arrived on time and did a great job mounting the TV. He made sure everything looked good and asked if I wanted any adjustments before finishing. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and would definitely use it again.

Now I need to call customer care tomorrow ton see if they can /will hopefully refund me the extra money I didn’t have that I paid for (twice, non the less). The installer never showed on the scheduled day, Dec 1, 2025, at 8 pm. The third party rescheduled without communicating. The reschedule was today, Dec 4th, 2025. At 7 pm, the driver called, pretending he could not find the building. I came outside and asked what he was driving. He responded that he was in a black SUV, and he marked the job as completed. The installation did not proceed, and he became lost and refused to follow the instructions for reaching the building. And he left.

Do not request installation. I mistakenly pressed a box then immediately rechecked to take the check mark removed, and instead of cancelling as I requested, prior to any appointment made they DOUBLED a the charge and then, as soon as I reached out to let them know, they automatically scheduled an appointment on their own. It has been a horrific deal with Angie’s . They keep wanting to charge me, and it’s a scam because they are trying to charge for services cancelled during my Walmart purchase. Beware!

Scheduled and on day of arrival appointment was rescheduled… 3 times. What a total waste of my time. I got the impression that they scheduled and rescheduled but only looked for someone to do the work after the fact so no direct coordination with an actual installer. If you have to take off work for the service, don’t! Deal with an installer directly.
