TV wall mounting

I purchased the service last week within 2 hours I had an appointment that was convenient to my schedule. The handyman Angelo called me when in route, the service was prompt and efficient. Everything was complete within a reasonable timeframe, the price was very affordable and I am super happy.

Great speedy service !

We bought our tv a month ago and decided we would rather have it mounted than on a tv stand. Making an appointment was easy. The day of our appointment our specialist Jesmarie called to let us know she was on her way. Upon arrival, all we had to do was show them the room and the mount we had purchased and within about 20 minutes they were already done. They made sure everything was to our liking and were on their way. Super quick, professional, and nice. Would definitely recommend !

Awesome Service

I am not a handy person at all, so when I bought a TV from Walmart and was told by an associate that I could purchase a service that Walmart offers to have someone mount my new TV on a wall in my house, I was elated. I called on a Sunday, and had an appointment for the next day. The installer arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. I will use this service again. Way to go Walmart for adding this service for customers

"UNPROFESSIONAL"

Since Sam's Club was offering this service, this must be a reliable outfit, so I purchased the 55" and larger Service for $149.99. I had a 10:30 am appt, his helper shows up on time, but refuses to start the work without his partner, claims he's not getting paid for this, he waits 30 mins and leaves, 20 mins after the first guy the second guy shows up, now it's 50 mins after appt time. He shows up with only a cordless drill, he starts knocking on the wall, I ask what are you doing?, looking for the stud to screw the wall mount into, he can find it he tells me, I have a new home and I don't need some "professional" telling me he can find the stud behind the drywall by knocking on it ! I bring out my stud finder and tape measurer, I find the stud for him and he uses my tape to measure between studs. When he finishes installing the Wall Mount and leaves, I attempt to swivel the TV and it turns out he never tightened any of bolts or screws holding the TV, I had to finish his job for him. I have contacted Angi about this, they just brush it off and offer to send out another "professional" to do a job I have already finished, no offer to refund my Money. And the Kicker to all this, is you must have an Angi App to contact your installer!!

Handy TV install was outstanding!

My first time experience with Handy on. TV install was excellent! From arrival to finish took only 29 minutes.This included the removal of the old tv and wall mount and the install of the new wall mounted TV. The installer was a master piece of expertise and know how…even to the final connections to Wi-Fi and online registration!

There aren’t enough stars to give this man! Absolutely helpful and very insightful. Polite, punctual, professional, and efficient are the words that immediately describe this man. We were very satisfied with his service and are looking forward to booking him again.

For a two people job, he was all alone fast and quick. He didn't leave a mess. I am satfied with the service. He was fast and quick. It onlu took him no longer then minutes. He didn't leave a mess. He was early, he was sypposed to be here at 5. He am at 3:30 e was quick. No mess.

Flat Screen Service Installation Limitations

I am having repeated questions/issues with the customers' assumption that I am there to provide a 'complete' installation service (Particularly Walmart jobs) including: 1. Connecting and troubleshooting ancillary devices such as DVD players, Cable Boxes, Sound Bars, Stereos, Surround Sound, and such. (Not Included). Basic reconnection of cables is assumed and not normally a problem and thus no extra charge. 2. Programming and setting up ROKU TV's which require account setup and passwords and often waiting for updates. (Not Included) 3. Programming and setup of Android TVs requiring Google Accounts and passwords. (Not Included) 4. Fire TV sticks attachment and troubleshooting requiring Amazon accounts and passwords. (Not Included) 5. Programming the various remotes particularly a 'single-remote' use scenario to program either the New TV remote or the existing Cable Remote for Power, Channel, and Volume control. (Not Included) 6. Training the customer on the usage of their new TV and remotes. (Not Included) The 'typical' customer for this service is often (and I say this with LOVE) the technically ignorant, incapable, inept, or an aged person who can't install it or does not have a competent family member to help them, so I am put in a position to provide a service that is not otherwise clearly stated and documented clearly to them upon the appointment or purchase process. These problem scenarios happen quite often and can easily triple the installation time and process. Often, they do not know their accounts and passwords to ANYTHING. The result is I am put in an uncomfortable position of either providing the service or telling the otherwise 'helpless' customer that it's an extra charge requiring we contact Dispatch and upgrade the situation. Either way, I have an unhappy customer and risk poor reviews or whatever downside. When I look up the Walmart Service page, I clearly see this: What's included with this service 1. Installation of customer-supplied TV mount 2. Mounting of TV up to 70" 3. Load testing the hardware and securing the TV That's it.

TV Wall Mounting

Today we had our smart tv wall mount installed. The installer was a young man who did an excellent job. He was very skilled and prompting got this done. Kristin was very polite, efficient, came prepared, and should be recognized for his experience and ability to answer our questions. We highly recommend Kristin.

Very terrible experience.. wall has an extra hole in it because the Mount was crooked, it would had stayed that way if I hadn’t spoke up, so more holes were made to level the mount properly, still slightly off center, I had to help pick up the tv and mount it over the fireplace (I’m 5’3”), At this point we are 3.5 hours in…. After mounting tv plugged it in and it had lines through the screen, I scheduled a pick up to return the tv which took a week and won’t see the refund for up to three more weeks. Bought another more expensive tv from target since Walmart could only offer me the refund (3weeks later) and not a replacement. The person they hired as a third party has never installed a tv and Mount before. Never again.
