Worst Install Job Ever.

We purchased a 65in TV from Sam's along with the install service from Angi. Because it was 55in and above, we had to select the more expensive option as the size of the tv required two installers. On the day of the install, only one installer showed up. He said that he was the only one that was assigned to the job. Due to the size of the tv, I had to help him move it and then help lift it onto the mount on the wall. 45 minutes after the start of the job, a 2nd installer showed up and said that he was also assigned to the job but the job was completed by then. As part of the package, they are supposed to clean up all of the packaging material and remove it. They both stated that they have very small cars and would not be able to clean up or remove the packaging material. As the installer was packing up his tools, he dropped his vacuum against our new dresser putting a large gouge into the wood. After reporting this to Angi, they gave us a big run around with the amount of paperwork and info they needed to file a claim. They eventually denied the claim saying that since it did not affect the functionality of the dresser, it was considered to be cosmetic and would not be covered. Below is their response: This decision aligns with the terms agreed upon when booking the service. Within those terms , you will find the exact verbiage outlining the agreement: “section 17; We do not cover losses for items that retain their functionality; (e.g., minor cosmetic damage, ordinary wear and tear, a t.v. that has a scratch on the bezel)” So it they scratch your new TV during the install, they will not cover the damage as it is considered cosmetic damage and they are the ones that decided what “cosmetic” is. Do not use Angi service as they will not be responsible for any damage caused by them and that they do not even honor what is outlined in the package that was purchased.

I Agree!

I wouldn't recommend Angi Services, either . You had qualified people before the pandemic after the pandemic you're liable to get someone out straight out of high school... With no experience plus bring their children to put up stuff...

Handy was Amazing

Jose arrived punctually per schedule 9:00 am. Took him a little over an hour to mount my 65” tv on the wall. After mounting he programmed the smart tv to allow streaming various apps. He recommended that I request for a new cable remote and also upgrade

TV Mounting Installation

I can't say enough good things about the gentleman, Gil, who completed my tv mounting installation. He was very polite, personable, and did not proceed unless getting my approval (where to install, how high on the wall, etc). This was a really pleasant experience, and you can't beat the price. I will definitely be keeping Gil as one of my experts on Handy!

More than Happy!

I've never had a better experience with someone else doing something for us. Caleb was absolutely great! Professional, courteous, and punctual! What more can one ask for? I would Highly recommend him and would personally ask for him if I need anything else done!

Handy app sucks !

Horrible app handy man runs late and makes it super inconvenient what’s the point of scheduling a time If there not going to show like I said horrible app unreliable all you do is reschedule if they don’t come nobody reaches out and see if somebody else can come so I gotta wait couple more days this sucks I don’t like them
