These kayaks are great for family adventures. They are heavy (require 2 adults to lift!) but so stable in the water. I was able to take two kids (5 and 8) out on the bay and they were jumping off and climbing back in without issue. Warning your butt will get wet due to the scupper holes, but the self draining is a huge plus! These boats are well worth the price. In the first two weeks we’ve had them we’ve been on 4 daylong trips with one adult and one or two kids plus a cooler and fishing gear or beach chairs in the boat. Bay, rivers, and lakes. All handled perfectly. Perfect starter kayaks for families. Well worth the money.

I bought this during a Sam's sale and found the kayak well worth the money. It is sturdy and well designed except for the fact that the rear hand hold is inadequate for holding properly. This kayak has some weight, and one person would have trouble with it. The customer service from Lifetime is exceptional.

Bought a kokanee kayak years ago and I happened to lost one of the seats so I contacted lifetime to see if they sold them because I can’t find the exact one anywhere. CS sent me one at no charge! I love this kayak and also love my fisher lifetime kayak I’ve had for years. Great quality kayaks and and great customer service! Thanks

I purchased a tandem lifetime kayak and I cannot be happier it's sturdy and it's big enough to hold two people comfortably. I had lost one of the lids for the storage holes when I was driving it flew out I called and they're shipping it to me no problem they're not even going to charge me which I would be happy to pay. I honestly cannot be happier.

I have this kayak which I love . About a month ago I lost one of the hatch covers on the way home. I contacted customer service about a replacement. They contacted me back and told me one was on it's way at no charge! Totally unexpected, wow! this company stands behind its product and has great customer service! We bought our first kayak, the Kokanee, from the first owner of it. We're really happy with it, it's easy to maneuver with one or two people and we've never been close to tipping it. It is a little heavy to load onto the top of our Jeep, but not unmanageable. The straps for the chairs were messed up when we got it and I called customer service to see about buying new straps for them. Ian was super helpful - he asked me for the numbers on the kayak and found that the kayak was still under warranty. So they sent me replacement straps for the chairs for free, even though I wasn't the original owner! This kayak and the customer service has made it easy for us to have fun kayaking and if we get another kayak we'll definitely look into the Lifetime products. Thanks Lifetime!

I needed a few replacement parts and I was a little upset that I couldn't just order it from the website. So I reached out to customer service and Terry went above and beyond to see to my request. The kayak seems great and I have no hesitations but really I am just stoked there are companies that are still putting customer service as top priority. Thank you.

I have not used the kayak yet. I bought it early and have been waiting for it to warm up. I am hoping to use it in May. So far it is exactly what I had expected after looking at it online. Like I said, I haven't used it yet but I am kind of wishing there was an upgraded seat available, but I knew that when I bought it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kayak is a bit heavy, but easily handled by two persons and we are very impressed as to how stable it is and how smooth navigate in the water. It's a perfect size for us, just 10ft long so it fits perfectly on my RV rack.

I bought this for my daughters to share until my youngest gets comfortable enough to have her own. They’ve used it a couple of times (13 y/o, 5’9” and 7 y/o, 4’8”) and had no issues and fit fine. I also took my 7 year old out (I’m 6’) and we had no issues. Now this thing is HEAVY. It’s every bit of the 77 lbs or whatever it states, although feels even heavier. And it’s wider than usual so quite awkward to load on top of an SUV solo. Definitely recommend adding handles to the sides. That’s one of the first things we did. It’s slow moving in the water but we’re also more relaxed kayakers so works fine for us. It’s stable and tracks just fine. The seat backs are comfortable and a good height for lumbar support but you’ll definitely need to get a cushion for your butt. We got some ozark stadium cushions from Walmart and they worked perfectly.
