It took about 3-4 hours to put together. It definitely takes two adults, at least for parts of it (my wife helped me with the heavier parts). The directions were excellent. The parts were packaged and labeled to match each section of the instructions, which was a big help. Have had the goal put together for about 2 weeks and the grandkids have been playing on it over the Christmas holidays and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I was impressed with how easy it is to adjust the height, which is helpful when there are kids of different sizes using it. The unit is very stable. It is on rollers and can be moved on a hard surface such as concrete but not on grass. Overall very satisfied with it and would highly recommend it.

A good sturdy system. Assembly instructions are not great but the end result is good. The height adjustment is nicely done - my son has been enjoying it thoroughly and improved his game after just 2 weeks of using the system daily. Overall this is a good deal for a basic basketball system.

The product is fine. IN fact it is better than I expected. The instructions are an absolute nightmare: out of sequence, 3 different languages, not sure where the next sequence begins. I finally resorted to picture only and ignored the words. It is NOT a one man job and I amazed that anyone could possibly put this together in 2 hours. Overall though I recommend the hoop.

Everything about this unit is great except for the one moving part it has, the height adjustment mechanism. The height adjustment failed after just 3 weeks of use. While assembling it, (admittedly I'm an engineer) I noticed the plate that is supposed to hold the hoop in place was not sufficient and would likely fail because it was 1/2" smaller than it should be for it to really work well and the spring that is used to move the plate back and forth inside the handle was really week. Unfortunately, I was right!! Now the hoop cannot be locked in place at any height, it just goes all the way down with gravity. Totally disappointing after spending the many hours to put it together.

Recently purchased this hoop for my son which I am greatful I spend a little more money to get a quality one. It indeed will take two people three hours to assemble but it flows if you FOLLOW the directions. My son loves it and I enjoy seeing him use it and so do all the kids in the neighborhood!

Bought this in September but due to life, we just put it together after sitting in our garage in the box. Loved hearing the sound of the basketball hitting the pavement in our driveway but after less than 24hrs of "lite" use from myself and our 10yr old, the hoop will not stay up. It's like the adjustment piece came loose and won't catch, my husband tried tightening it and it will not stay up. So bummed, this was our son's birthday gift and not a cheap purchase for it to last for such a short amount of time :(

I'm very handy, but during assembly, I got confused twice. One confusion resulted in having to undo and redo assembling quite a bit because I got the poll backwards with the rim hanging over the base. Oops! The problem could have been easily avoided with a change in the picture in section 2.2 where you connect the poll to the base. It does say "with the lip...," but a better picture (even with the lip identified) would have helped. Another section is clearly wrong. In section 6.1, the "Right Frame Pad (BAB)" is clearly pictured differently than the Right Frame Pad under "Parts Required." In the picture in Section 6.1, Left and Right are reversed. As a final comment, the self-drilling screws are very hard to install with a rechargeable, battery drill. A corded drill would be much better.

It's a good Basketball goal but, I expected more for what it cost. It adjust very easily which is great for my small children. It's not very stable even with the XL base there is still a lot of shaking. As long as I use it for the small kids it will be fine but, I'll have to look at something else for the adults.

Purchased this portable & adjustable height basketball system for my two grandsons for a Christmas Gift. The entire system came packaged in one sale-contained box. It was shipped to the Wal-Mart Store closet to my residence. It was delivered ON-TIME! Also, a text message was sent to my cell phone informing me that the system was delivered. It was easy to set-up. You need the assistance of another person for a few of the tasks. All-in-all in was well worth the cost. Wal-Mart did an outstanding job throughout the entire on-line ordering and delivery procedure.

Finally, I have received my required parts on May 20. It took a month to arrive. Don’t know why? I have been patiently waiting since April 18. The last call (3rd call) I have made was on May 14 to check where the parts are. Each time, I have to wait for 40 minutes to an hour to have someone answer the phone. Although, the customer service person is polite and courteous. Just like other customer’s review, the instruction is not clear and complete. So is the APP. It doesn’t show you all the step pictures (APP) from scratch to the end. Lifetime should treat your each customer is first time buyer (installer) and doesn’t know anything about this product. Lastly, I have problem to tighten the ADS screw. Because of several time of screw and unscrew, it makes the hole slightly enlarge. Can you send me 2 screw which are slightly large size than ADS?
