Bought for our son 13 th bday already played with. He loves it. Easy ease to lower the hoop up and down. Would like to see this on flag pole. Did a lot of research before buying this was the best deal. Had some issue with delivery had to wait extra week but if I had check it was in a small box probably could have picked up instead of waiting for delivery. No manufacture issues as yet probably won’t forsee any in the near future. Read a lot reviews got a lot of good tips before buying. Great Tip use a large gallon water bottle to fill with gravel, sand or water. We use 3/8 gravel very sturdy it’s not going anywhere. If we are not using the hoop we lower the hoop easily. Easy installation following it step by step 2 to 3 hrs with minimal help.

Instructions were very easy to follow. Each hardware bag is labeled so keep the hardware in each bag until you need it. It was a great father and son project to build then play afterword. I used a step ladder and a funnel to fill the base with sand. It takes 375 lbs. of sand. I recommend 8 bags of contractor sand. Happy shooting!

It took forever and a half for us to decipher the directions and how to put the pieces together. We called/ chatted for help several times and had to invite friends over to help assemble it. Please work on clarifying directions so that it does not take so long. That said, the assembled product is great to use.

I bought this about a month ago now, and my kids love playing with it. However, I'm not sure how long it will last. We purchased this and then assembled it the same day. While assembling it we found that the base is extremely flimsy. We worried if and how long it will actually support the pole and hoop. We figured that perhaps once it was filled it would work better but it did not. When we stood it upright, the base cracked! While we were filling it, we noticed that it was already broken and had additional holes in it where the water leaked out. It is not sealed tight! So now in order to use this basketball hoop, we have to keep a bag of sand on top of it to keep it from falling over and I'm not sure how long it will last. I only keep it up because my kids love it so.

Actually, I bought this for my grandson who is not quite 3 yrs old so he needs to do some growing before he can actually play with it. But I know kids all you gotta' do is feed and water them and they grow like weeds. I assembled this system with no help but I'm an engineer and used to doing difficult mechanical projects alone. I believe this will be fun for him and his friends for a long time to come. Thanks Walmart!

The hoop is great and once built, it is super easy to adjust the height. However, it is a pain to build. The instructions are crummy and you need 3 people to assemble. The thing I hated the most was filling in sand. It is awkward to load 375 lbs of sand. I don't know why they designed the weights so bad. Caution: before you start filling sand/water make sure you are on a hard surface and almost where you want to place the hoop. They say it's easy to move around, but it's not.

Bought this ffor when grandkids visit and happy I did. The goal is very easy to adjust up and down so all sizes of kids can enjoy playing! The box came with incorrect part but I called customer service and Ryan sent the correct part that day-great service and concern for customer satisfaction! Recommend Highly!

I sent this to my daughter's home and went there for Thanksgiving to put it together for her kids. It arrived on Wednesday, but a major part was missing. According to Lifetime it takes 2 or 3 days to process an overnight shipment order to get the part. Very disappointing situation since I live 10 hous away, and the company is unable to correct their error quickly.

I'm very handy, but during assembly, I got confused twice. One confusion resulted in having to undo and redo assembling quite a bit because I got the poll backwards with the rim hanging over the base. Oops! The problem could have been easily avoided with a change in the picture in section 2.2 where you connect the poll to the base. It does say "with the lip...," but a better picture (even with the lip identified) would have helped. Another section is clearly wrong. In section 6.1, the "Right Frame Pad (BAB)" is clearly pictured differently than the Right Frame Pad under "Parts Required." In the picture in Section 6.1, Left and Right are reversed. As a final comment, the self-drilling screws are very hard to install with a rechargeable, battery drill. A corded drill would be much better.

This is a great basketball system. It's very easy to move the backboard up and down. I looked at that same system online at other places and no one came close to the walmart price. All parts were accounted for. I hired someone to assemble for me, he put it together in less than 45 minutes. He suggested filling the base with water and 2 gallons of Boat/RV anti freeze (environmentally safe) so that it doesn't freeze in the winter. The system/backboard is not too big for a 2 car driveway. The backboard does not make a loud sound when the basketball hits it like some other systems do, this one is good quality. I highly recommend this product.
