I've had this kayak for a while now. i've used it in lakes and in the ocean. i've launched into surf with no problem (we did get wet). the seats got lost over time and customer service sent me new seats, no questions asked! its a bit heavy for one person but i've paddled out on it by myself. stable in the water. easy to add modifications. the only drawback is no netting or anything else inside the "storage holes"

I needed a few replacement parts and I was a little upset that I couldn't just order it from the website. So I reached out to customer service and Terry went above and beyond to see to my request. The kayak seems great and I have no hesitations but really I am just stoked there are companies that are still putting customer service as top priority. Thank you.

My Kayak is great, but customer support the likes of which I received from Hunter elevates my experience to "Excellent"! Call volumes are very high, but he was very helpful and polite! Hunter is an excellent representative of the company and should be promoted immediately!

We have owned this kayak for almost 8 years. Aside from the seat back and clips that attach it eventually breaking, we have had zero problems. I contacted customer service and they had a shipment (at no cost to us) in the mail within 24 hours with replacement parts. Myself and multiple of my children use this kayak for summer fun and fishing. I love using it with my toddlers because it is SO stable, you almost cannot turn it over even if you wanted to. Excellent for a family style kayak adventure on the lake, or those who prefer more stability. We have even taken this one to the ocean twice and used for fishing, it withstands the waves and proved very useful for dropping bait. Only downside that comes with the stability, of course, is it is quite heavy to move. Luckily, ours does not go far.

We bought our first kayak, the Kokanee, from the first owner of it. We're really happy with it, it's easy to maneuver with one or two people and we've never been close to tipping it. It is a little heavy to load onto the top of our Jeep, but not unmanageable. The straps for the chairs were messed up when we got it and I called customer service to see about buying new straps for them. Ian was super helpful - he asked me for the numbers on the kayak and found that the kayak was still under warranty. So they sent me replacement straps for the chairs for free, even though I wasn't the original owner! This kayak and the customer service has made it easy for us to have fun kayaking and if we get another kayak we'll definitely look into the Lifetime products. Thanks Lifetime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kayak is a bit heavy, but easily handled by two persons and we are very impressed as to how stable it is and how smooth navigate in the water. It's a perfect size for us, just 10ft long so it fits perfectly on my RV rack.

I bought this for my daughters to share until my youngest gets comfortable enough to have her own. They’ve used it a couple of times (13 y/o, 5’9” and 7 y/o, 4’8”) and had no issues and fit fine. I also took my 7 year old out (I’m 6’) and we had no issues. Now this thing is HEAVY. It’s every bit of the 77 lbs or whatever it states, although feels even heavier. And it’s wider than usual so quite awkward to load on top of an SUV solo. Definitely recommend adding handles to the sides. That’s one of the first things we did. It’s slow moving in the water but we’re also more relaxed kayakers so works fine for us. It’s stable and tracks just fine. The seat backs are comfortable and a good height for lumbar support but you’ll definitely need to get a cushion for your butt. We got some ozark stadium cushions from Walmart and they worked perfectly.

Bought a kokanee kayak years ago and I happened to lost one of the seats so I contacted lifetime to see if they sold them because I can’t find the exact one anywhere. CS sent me one at no charge! I love this kayak and also love my fisher lifetime kayak I’ve had for years. Great quality kayaks and and great customer service! Thanks

I was told by Sam’s representative that paddles were included. They were not. What good is a kayak without paddles?
