These kayaks are great for family adventures. They are heavy (require 2 adults to lift!) but so stable in the water. I was able to take two kids (5 and 8) out on the bay and they were jumping off and climbing back in without issue. Warning your butt will get wet due to the scupper holes, but the self draining is a huge plus! These boats are well worth the price. In the first two weeks we’ve had them we’ve been on 4 daylong trips with one adult and one or two kids plus a cooler and fishing gear or beach chairs in the boat. Bay, rivers, and lakes. All handled perfectly. Perfect starter kayaks for families. Well worth the money.

Lifetime Kayak

I bought this during a Sam's sale and found the kayak well worth the money.  It is sturdy and well designed except for the fact that the rear hand hold is inadequate for holding properly.  This kayak has some weight, and one person would have trouble with it.  The customer service from Lifetime is exceptional.

Well built

My Kayak is great, but customer support the likes of which I received from Hunter elevates my experience to "Excellent"! Call volumes are very high, but he was very helpful and polite! Hunter is an excellent representative of the company and should be promoted immediately!

We have owned this kayak for almost 8 years. Aside from the seat back and clips that attach it eventually breaking, we have had zero problems. I contacted customer service and they had a shipment (at no cost to us) in the mail within 24 hours with replacement parts. Myself and multiple of my children use this kayak for summer fun and fishing. I love using it with my toddlers because it is SO stable, you almost cannot turn it over even if you wanted to.  Excellent for a family style kayak adventure on the lake, or those who prefer more stability. We have even taken this one to the ocean twice and used for fishing, it withstands the waves and proved very useful for dropping bait.  Only downside that comes with the stability, of course, is it is quite heavy to move. Luckily, ours does not go far.

Outstanding customer service

My family and I are building memories with our Lifetime kayak. One of the best investments we've made as a family and we couldn't be happier. What I love about  our Kokanee is its versatility to shuffle the seats, in the case that you don't want to have two people on the kayak. You can move the seat to the middle position and take it out by your self. Its a great feature. Plenty of storage. Wont break your back packing it around. Love it. If you could put some money down of something and be guaranteed a heart full of memories. This would be it. -Cheers

The funnest summer.Ever!

Had this kyak for some time and it is great for me and my daughter to tandem with. I had a problem with the seats. Lifetime was great with replacement parts. One email and they had me what I needed and back on the water. That’s great customer service.

Bought a kokanee kayak years ago and I happened to lost one of the seats so I contacted lifetime to see if they sold them because I can’t find the exact one anywhere. CS sent me one at no charge! I love this kayak and also love my fisher lifetime kayak I’ve had for years. Great quality kayaks and and great customer service! Thanks

Exemplary Customer Service and Awesome kayaks

I have not used the kayak yet. I bought it early and have been waiting for it to warm up. I am hoping to use it in May. So far it is exactly what I had expected after looking at it online. Like I said, I haven't used it yet but I am kind of wishing there was an upgraded seat available, but I knew that when I bought it.

ready to go

I bought this for my daughters to share until my youngest gets comfortable enough to have her own. They’ve used it a couple of times (13 y/o, 5’9” and 7 y/o, 4’8”) and had no issues and fit fine. I also took my 7 year old out (I’m 6’) and we had no issues. 

Now this thing is HEAVY. It’s every bit of the 77 lbs or whatever it states, although feels even heavier. And it’s wider than usual so quite awkward to load on top of an SUV solo. Definitely recommend adding handles to the sides. That’s one of the first things we did. 

It’s slow moving in the water but we’re also more relaxed kayakers so works fine for us. It’s stable and tracks just fine. The seat backs are comfortable and a good height for lumbar support but you’ll definitely need to get a cushion for your butt. We got some ozark stadium cushions from Walmart and they worked perfectly.
