Quicken software can be better and the price is way too high but Walmarts price was a solid value

Quicken is a good application. The Investing Dashboard needs some updating and the subscription is a bit much. Won't be long before Quicken only lets you purchase through them at a higher annual rate. Thanks Sam's Club!

I've been using quicken for years to manage and monitor credit card use, banking and investing. I do occasionally have issues with some download services needing a periodic reset to resume download services. Occasionally, the reset will change the accounts opening balance from 0 (zero) to some other balance since the reset will pull the account balance based on how far back the reset goes to pull its data. I just check the accounts opening balance prior to any reset actions. Other than that, it does what I need.

I have used Quicken Premier for years to manage my personal finances and investments. The program is feature rich and gives you lots of tools to better understand you finances. There debt reduction tools and savings tools to help keep you on track.

Quicken is far from perfect (occasional bugs or trouble downloading data from some banks) but gets the job done. Since they switched to the annual subscription model this discounted 1-year codes are the best way to keep using it. So, overall, this is a very good deal if you are used to Quicken.

Facing the annual subscription charge that continues to rise as new customers get heavy discounts is the bane for many quicken users. This products is for existing customers. Best price I found. It wasn’t marked for existing customers, though there is another cheaper version on Walmart’s site that is clearly marked for first time customers. When I received this version, I entered the enclosed key and it extended my product for another year. Very smooth.

Quicken remains one of the best money management applications out there. It's hard to find one that doesn't force users to operate within cloud applications. With this Quicken you can store everything locally and use cloud-options when you want. While there are some odd behaviors when adding accounts (e.g., new accounts can at times be used as a payee in previously entered charges), overall this does a great job for what I need. In particular, I love the ability to track all my charges, budget my funds, and track all my investments in one application.

I still like classic software to be used on the computer vs. completely cloud product. Over the years the software has moved over to subscription model.
