I am a little conflicted on these Argentinian Red Shrimp. At first when bought at the number one competitor place they even tasted somewhat like langostinos/lobsterish? Later on a future purchase I felt they had a softness about them that took some of the initial interest. Then I bought it from Sam’s Club, and yes, inarguably the same kind of shrimp. I wanted wild caught as opposed to farmed, and in that sense it’s a little better than average, but that’s about it. 4 Stars.

Grainy and rank. I ususally buy shrimp at the other warehouse. I figured it would be the same here. Nope. I bought 3 times. The first time was okay. The second i came to read the reviews bc it was odd like it had sand in the bag. I bought it a third time, it was rank. Had to return. I'll be buying my shrimp at the other place or from the fish monger.

The best fresh and delicious frozen shrimp that I've ever purchased. I am a regular Sam's Club shopper for 30+ years therefore I take pride in the quality/quantity of the products that I purchase. I have bought this product for about 2 years now and have never been disappointed. As long as this product is available I will have it on my table.

Member’s Mark products I am not really a big fan of with the exception of their Wild Caught Shrimp they are pricy but are Nicely size & are Wild Caught, just as long as they do not go up on their prices will always purchase theirs instead of Wegmans!

I wish Sam's would go back to their old brand of red shrimp! The new store branded (Member's Mark) shrimp creates a smelly, foamy pink scum on the water surface when cooked. The "scum" residue requires more cleanup effort of the cooking pan & associated utensils and is a general turnoff. The shrimp tastes fine, but I'd rather have the old version.

I like to buy "wild caught" rather than farm raised. Hopefully they are what they say they are. Defrost them first!! Drop into boiling salted water for 2 minutes. Set timer!! DO NOT OVERCOOK!! Drain and plung in bowl of ice water. Perfect every time. (Raw are usually grey color. Pink usually means cooked. So these "pink" shrimp are an anomaly in my mind. Remember...Do not overcook!!)

Very good but inconsistent quality. Regular price is high but a good deal when on sale. I went back 4 days later to pickup more bags but they were out. I waited for almost 10 minutes after they called someone only to be told they don't have anymore. When I asked why the big Sale sign is still displayed, he said they aren't allowed to remove it even though they are out!

This is my favorite! Tender and very tasty. I love it cooked in butter and lots of garlic and black pepper, a sprinkle of salt and a touch of spicy seasoning of choice. Easy to prepare and cooks quickly. Great in pasta dishes and on top of salads. I've tried other shrimp, peeled and unpeeled, tail on, tail off. This is #1 for me because it's peeled and cleaned (less work), raw and good size pieces. It always comes out tender, not rubbery. I have a second favorite (peel and tail on) but I find myself purchasing this one mostly because it's quick and easy AND more tasty!

best shrimp ever...tastes like lobster and we have it with drawn butter just like lobster! yummm!

Fishy and small compared to the same package I purchased from you in the past. Will not buy again
