I like the product but it is a little bit small for an 85inch TV, because its cant sit right around the edge of the TV the lights just arent that bright surrounding the tv. I imagine on smaller tv's the brghtnes would be amplified massively. I need younto make a bigger version for an 85inch tv

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. ?Absolutely worth it! The lights are very bright and the directions and app were very easy to use! I did put my camera on the bottom so it didn't ruin the top glow! It's definitely one of the most brightest LED strips I've ever owned!

It was easy to set up. The light strips has good adhesion and is staying put. I mixed up clockwise and counterclockwise so I had to fix that but otherwise it was easy-peasy, easier than I thought it would be. All together it took about 10 minutes to install and it works great.

So this light works like the rest of gove. I have an 80" tv and should have got the next size down. These light strips extend past my tv so it's an eye sore and a pain in the ass to install and make it look clean. Needed more back sticky. It is a nice add-on when finished but during the day you can see the folded light stips looks like crap. Not a clean install the bigger stips should be an 85" tv and above on what the box shows I also put the orange sticky block and tried to a line this best I could its not perfect or I deal but it works. That is why I rated this low I have a lot of Govee products and love the lights and color but these are not the best install. All add photos later on not home to provide those.

Obviously got these for the video aspect but you can set to music, scene, prog your own colours and DIY as well. 3m tape more than adhesive enough for placement. Had an issue at first but govee quickly sorted it out. 5 star service.

This TV backlight kit is definitely well worth the money (and it's not that much money!) I purchased the kit as a test run to see if I liked the idea. I liked it so much I decided to "upgrade" to the Phillips Hue version, only to realize that this kit at less than a 1/4 the price is 4x better than Phillips Hue version. These lights are fantastic. They definitely make the TV watching experience more immersive and I think it's easier on the eyes now. They're not too difficult to set up and you can put the camera on the bottom of the TV if you prefer. Mine had to go on the bottom as the TV is too thin at the top to give me any space to stick the camera. The one thing I'd list as a drawback is that they seem to have a tendency to compute a scene in shades of red, when there's really nothing on the screen that's red. I run the test videos from Youtube and they look fantastic, with the colors matching very well all around the TV. With some shows, though, that red-dominant situation happens. I can't explain it.

I originally bought the Govee floor lamp and needed a the TV lights. I decided to go with the Backlight 3 lights because I figured that was the best one not knowing there was another one with two lenses. Although I was really bum I bought the wrong one, I am still satisfied at how fast and reactive the Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite is.

My partner and I bought this to add ambient lighting to our entertainment area. Putting the strips behind our 55" TV was a bit of a challenge as the size of the strips meant having to plan how to bend the corner wires without them being visible when watching. They are the perfect size for our TV but I wish the corner wires were done a different way so the risk of showing behind the TV is less. We also had a difficult time properly calibrating the corners, and had to attempt multiple times before we could get the image just right for our TV. Sticking the orange squares onto the TV made us concerned about residue but that didn't really become an issue, thankfully. Aside from difficulty hiding the strip corners and the finicky camera process, it provided exactly the ambiance we were looking for when playing games or watching videos.

I used to get headaches watching tv in the dark, but since installing these, I haven't had any. It took some tinkering with the controls to get the colors fairly accurate, but Im satisfied with that. Blues are blue reds are red etc. I even get the greens pretty good. (I know people have had issues with green). The one I don't understand is black, the govee shows white? In low light shots the white light makes it harder to see whats going on on the screen. Its not blinding white light or anything, but the contrast between the white and dark screen makes it difficult to make out details. In my opinion if the screen section is black then govee should shut off the lights in that section. Maybe include a switch in the settings so we can decide which we like.
