All Of My LED Products have been with Govee and they continue to not disappoint. If you're looking to up your tv experience , then this is the way to go! They are a bit pricey in my opinion but well worth it to! They Fit great on my 55Inch tv, with a slight 1inch or so of extra length, but it doesn't affect the over all look or function to them. Would Recommend to anyone!!

These work great but only if installed correctly. Nowhere in the directions does it specify that it needs to be installed exactly like the image shown. There are 4 different ways to install the light strips (starting them in any of the 4 corners) and apparently only one is correct. Seems like Govee would mention that. The camera reads in one direction and can not be reversed or flipped. If you do them in the reverse order, or if you start the light strips in any other direction the lights will show action on the opposite side of the TV. I installed mine opposite starting in the left corner because of where I wanted things to be plugged in. I can't believe the only person that has done this.

Set up of the Govee Immersion backlights was very straightforward. I benefitted from watching several YouTube videos and had the 4 LED strips affixed to the back of my 60-inch TV in about 20 minutes. The adhesive that's on the strips themselves is fairly forgiving and I was able to make minute adjustments to get everything aligned just right. The music mode is very entertaining and my favorite effect is "rolling". The microphone easily picked up the beat in louder songs and even picked up voices in the room on the quieter songs. I'm very happy with the music mode. Video mode is another story. I've been using "part" video mode, which is supposed to use the Govee camera to detect what colors are at the edge of the TV screen and then project those colors in the appropriate areas behind and around the screen. Several reviewers recommended turning the saturation down, which does provide more realistic colors (otherwise, you typically end up with a very bright, rich color projection... that rarely matches anything being displayed on your screen). However, even with the saturation at about 20%, I have noticed that colors that are actually displaying at the top of my TV screen are projected at the BOTTOM of my TV. I re-calibrated the Govee lights 5 times and still witnessed this phenomenon. I also triple-checked my setup to make sure I had correctly indicated which way my lights were mounted on the back of my TV: counter-clockwise or clockwise. I mounted the camera at the top of the TV, looking down, thinking that dust and ambient light from overhead light sources might affect the Govee accuracy if I had mounted the camera on the bottom of the TV, looking up. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. The LEDs are a really fun addition to playing music via my TV and console. I also enjoy the way the colors sort-of match what's on my screen when I watch content on my TV. Do the lights accurately reproduce what's on the screen, color-and-location-wise? Not really. But, for the price and because... it's a TV and not a Cadillac... these lights are totally fine. I've included images of the camera calibration set up process + a video in which you may notice colors being projected below the TV that actually appear in the upper part of the content on the TV.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. ?First think installation is easy. Clean the back of your tv with rubbing alcohol and allow to dry before applying lights. The 3m strip on the back of the lights seemed to have lost stickiness out of the box. But a hair dryer on warm setting worked perfectly to resolve that. I have a 60" tv and lights could get as close to the edge as I want. For the orange squares during calibration use painters tape vs the 3m sticky on the back as it is too strong to put on a TV screen. During darker movies or grayish movies the camera seems to mistake the black or grey for blue and cast a blue light on the back wall. But I feel I resolved this by recalibration and using a lower brightness and lower saturation. It seems the ideal brightness for me is between 20-30 and saturation between 25-40. Again I am very pleased with how this turned out even with minor quirks.

So this light works like the rest of gove. I have an 80" tv and should have got the next size down. These light strips extend past my tv so it's an eye sore and a pain in the ass to install and make it look clean. Needed more back sticky. It is a nice add-on when finished but during the day you can see the folded light stips looks like crap. Not a clean install the bigger stips should be an 85" tv and above on what the box shows I also put the orange sticky block and tried to a line this best I could its not perfect or I deal but it works. That is why I rated this low I have a lot of Govee products and love the lights and color but these are not the best install. All add photos later on not home to provide those.

Fit my 65' Sony TV perfectly. I've been using this product for a couple months now and am very pleased. Very easy to install and setup. The app works great and the effect is great, does a fantastic job of changing colors to reflect what's on the screen with little to no lag. Very good product. No issues so far.

I like the product but it is a little bit small for an 85inch TV, because its cant sit right around the edge of the TV the lights just arent that bright surrounding the tv. I imagine on smaller tv's the brghtnes would be amplified massively. I need younto make a bigger version for an 85inch tv

These lights are fantastic. They definitely make the TV watching experience more immersive and I think it's easier on the eyes now. They're not too difficult to set up and you can put the camera on the bottom of the TV if you prefer. Mine had to go on the bottom as the TV is too thin at the top to give me any space to stick the camera. The one thing I'd list as a drawback is that they seem to have a tendency to compute a scene in shades of red, when there's really nothing on the screen that's red. I run the test videos from Youtube and they look fantastic, with the colors matching very well all around the TV. With some shows, though, that red-dominant situation happens. I can't explain it.

Its very easy to install and is well worth it! its far more affortable compared to the other competion. It worked seemlessly on my samsung 65 inch tv.

I originally bought the Govee floor lamp and needed a the TV lights. I decided to go with the Backlight 3 lights because I figured that was the best one not knowing there was another one with two lenses. Although I was really bum I bought the wrong one, I am still satisfied at how fast and reactive the Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite is.
