On video mode I'm not overly impressed by the slow color matching of the background but it does add another element to a more immersive experience. That being said the music mode actually works really well so if you put on YouTube music playlists or even Spotify you can have your own club vibe going on for parties. If you're looking for ambient light that will match video perfectly Phillips Hue may be a better option but a pricier one.

Bought it for myself now buying multiple for gifts. Calibration is easy and the lights look amazing. Luke's scene in the mandalorian rock. His green saber flows from left to right as red blasters shoot around the scene. Definitely enhances movies and the app has a ton of modes and options. Highly recommend.

All I can say is wow and if your reading this it literally fits a 75 inch tv.Best of the best!!I strongly recommend it!!Honestly this is amazing, I got this for my dad too and he loves it.Especially at night for movies or even playing music, or the other features.It connects with all my smart devices.

The lights are great. They're bright, ok color selection on the app, and the scenes are fun to have. However, the camera to TV LED casting is meh. The colors don't mach up the best but it's alright, just a little under-welming. My biggest issue with the lights was the setup. I have a 50" TV and the lights seem like they are ment for AT LEAST a 55" TV. This was not clearly I indicated on the website nore was their an option to get a smaller size. I would not recommend getting these strips unless you have AT LEAST a 55" TV.

The system is really cool and works pretty well. The reason my rating isn't higher is technically due to my living room configuration. I have tall pole lamps on either side of my TV that stay on during the day causing the DreamView to not change colors accurately with the screen and sometimes not at all.

Set up of the Govee Immersion backlights was very straightforward. I benefitted from watching several YouTube videos and had the 4 LED strips affixed to the back of my 60-inch TV in about 20 minutes. The adhesive that's on the strips themselves is fairly forgiving and I was able to make minute adjustments to get everything aligned just right. The music mode is very entertaining and my favorite effect is "rolling". The microphone easily picked up the beat in louder songs and even picked up voices in the room on the quieter songs. I'm very happy with the music mode. Video mode is another story. I've been using "part" video mode, which is supposed to use the Govee camera to detect what colors are at the edge of the TV screen and then project those colors in the appropriate areas behind and around the screen. Several reviewers recommended turning the saturation down, which does provide more realistic colors (otherwise, you typically end up with a very bright, rich color projection... that rarely matches anything being displayed on your screen). However, even with the saturation at about 20%, I have noticed that colors that are actually displaying at the top of my TV screen are projected at the BOTTOM of my TV. I re-calibrated the Govee lights 5 times and still witnessed this phenomenon. I also triple-checked my setup to make sure I had correctly indicated which way my lights were mounted on the back of my TV: counter-clockwise or clockwise. I mounted the camera at the top of the TV, looking down, thinking that dust and ambient light from overhead light sources might affect the Govee accuracy if I had mounted the camera on the bottom of the TV, looking up. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. The LEDs are a really fun addition to playing music via my TV and console. I also enjoy the way the colors sort-of match what's on my screen when I watch content on my TV. Do the lights accurately reproduce what's on the screen, color-and-location-wise? Not really. But, for the price and because... it's a TV and not a Cadillac... these lights are totally fine. I've included images of the camera calibration set up process + a video in which you may notice colors being projected below the TV that actually appear in the upper part of the content on the TV.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. ?Product is great and very immersive! One minor complain is that the led strip is more for 65" TV rather than 55" because both the left and right side of the strip is long and overshoot the size of the TV. You'll need to do some bending of the strip.

I've done everything perfectly correctly but the color match is Terribble, Generates wrong colors at wrong time does do much of anything it said it was gonna just absolutely terriblely disappointed with my purchase as of right now will change my review if the issue is ever resolved but not worth the money at all as of right now

It will not color match and after days of trying to set it up it would never set up properly. The side lights will not light up and it will constantly unsynch itself. I was excited about this product, but it was a waste of money and a huge disappointment

At first it can be very distracting during movies and game play, but after about a week or two, we were able to almost forgot it's even there. It almost feels like it adds depth, or adds to your perfect little vision when you're watching anything, as the image almost appears to be extended past the screen. But calibration is important, as over the first week or so, it needed to be re calibrated when the TV was mounted. If it's not calibrated correctly, the colors bring thrown on the wall can be pulled from different areas on the screen, which is very distracting. Overall very happy with the purchase.
