I am very dissatisfied with the plastic line. I made multiple purchases of the brilliance line in glass and plastic when moving into our new home. They are not microwave safe nor dishwasher. Let’s just say when I called Rubbermaid and I was told that they can only go in the microwave for 30 seconds and that they should go on the top rack in the dishwasher. Not sorry that you feel that way can we offer you a promo code etc. while she chewed in my ear. Nevertheless, DO NOT GET THE PLASTIC.

They heat beautifully in the microwave, they do not leak at all and best of all no staining. I put beefaroni in the container and no stains at all. Every other container that I have used in the past for lunches have stains. I would recommend this product to anyone even for kids they are easy to open and close. I am very pleased and will be purchasing them in different sizes.

It also heats well in the microwave without without disrupting the integrity of the Container. They are leak-proof! I sometimes like to take soups or stews to work for my lunch and there would always be some time of liquid mess in lunch bag. They are also great for stacking shaving space in your cupboard.

The containers no longer use 100% tritan plastic. Only the lid is "crystal-clear" now and the bottom container is a cloudy resin. This subsituted styrenic acrylic co-polymer resin is visually bad. The shape of the container is not smooth and the clearness is the same as dirty dish water. The old version was the best. This new resin is not as nice.

I absolutely loved that I could leave the lid on and not worry about splattering. BPA free gives me the peace of mind my family is safe. The most unique feature are the vents so you don't have to worry about cracking it to let steam escape. Easily stackable and clear so you don't have to search you can easily see the contents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "This is a sponsored review, I received free product from SheSpeaks.” This product has been a lifesaver for packing away lunch for my whole family. I love the various compartments which allow for a variety of foods to be incorporated into our meals. Because of the closures you also have food locked in not only for freshness but without leaking all over your stuff. This has become our favorite containers for meals and snacks on the go and will be purchasing a set for each child to use for school.

Not too hot to handle but be careful when removing the lid! Unlike some containers this one hasn't absorbed the stain of what was microwaved in it. Only downfall is the cost, I would be hesitant to send this to school with my child in case they forgot to bring it home.
